fortunately ive never had to deal with a stolen vehicle....yet, but a few years back, my uncles 79 got stolen in bonney lake...long story short, a few weeks later they found some guys driving it in puyallup. well the people that stole it actually put new tires/wheels, stereo, speakrs and a bunch of tools in the bed, the cops said he can keep it all. so he actually won on that deal.

I know what it's like to your truck stolen!!  Mine was stolen in Feb 07.  IT SUCKS!!!!!!!  I got it back a few days later with no damage.  But they stole virtually EVERYTHING out of it.  Although they didn't touch the stereo or get behind the passenger seat or under the seat.  Go figure.  However they did empty my tool box. 

I feel for you and wish I could be some help in finding it.

Yea its been five days. I still havent heard anything. Pretty sure it got torched and used for parts. I talked to the gus with the first gen for sale. http://spokane.craigslist.org/cto/1117097308.html There is a rust hole in the bed but he said it's in fairly good shape, so I'm going to look at it tomorrow. If anybody knows any good deals on first gens, around $1,500 let me know. Thanks

That was Definitely my 1st thought when mine was ripped off!!!! But some lady called about it being parked in front of her house over night with the windows down, less than 2 miles from the mall it was stolen at.  Go Figure!

A few more pictures of the engine bay. It has a weber on it, but im not sure exactley what one it is. The previous owner didnt know either. I havent had a chance to do research on it,and there is no tag on it other than a serial number, so if anybody has an idea it would be appreciated.

would you have any interest in a 5speed trans(needs rebuilt) and top shift tcase. i have a 86 4runner that i bought for parts and im gonna scrap out the rest. all im taking is the motor and efi stuff, front seats, p/s gear box, d-lines and possibly rear axle. anything else is free and up for grabs if you want it or have any friends that need anything.

p.s. i live in spokane too.

So after 6 months I found my stolen truck up in the hills by tum tum washington. my co worker was hunting and came down a single lane dirt road and there it was. The people with the trailer house across the way were trying to put the motor in their sons early 90's toyota p/u. they said they bought it the day before for $200 dollars....so here goes the project again..

dude thats insane right there.. how in gods name is that thing not stripped and cut up. Down here when toyotas get stolen there chopped into tiny pieces and ditched in the woods lucky find for sure. Thats sweet thats its still together though for damn sure.

I am still amazed that i got it back. got the motor all tore down to check it out. she's gonna get some paint put on this month hopefully.I'll post some pics of the engine tomorrow

Ordered some new wheels for the truck on wedsneday, should be here tomorrow along with my 1200# clutch kit
