there is a reason she is your EX gf, move on... she probably dumped you because you are an alcoholic!

thats 'cause you're being  richard about it.  Even if you don't agree that its the best way to handle it, Its how he is.  Mabye this girl meant a hell of a lot to him.  I'm sure he knows all about the effects of alcohol, so leave him be.  No reason to call him pathetic, and rag him into the ground

Well since you asked, and I'm not sure what you asked, but I would have to say it was entirely inappropriate of your ex to go, with her new BF, to the restaurant you work and then, on top of that, ignore you.
You are better off without someone with that kind of vindictive attitude. Let her waste another losers time, I'm sure you have better things to do with yours.

Exactly, he came here for some advice (I think, still not sure what he asked :disturbed: ) and maybe a little sympathy, not to be ragged on because of his choice of venting his anger.
In time I am sure he will see there are better ways to go about it, or not, but that is not for us to judge.

i know, it's easier giving advice from the outside then being the one involved.

If she tries to play that game again can you ask the mgr. to ask her to leave? That is really an effed up thing to do to someone. Why would she do that, is she that much of a pregnant dog?

It does take a while to get over it sometimes but someday you'll wake up and pretty much be completely over it.  That day will be great, trust me.  I have also gotten stupid drunk before out of emotonal difficulty and I felt good while I was hammered so it was cool I guess.  Also, try talking to some other girls.  Maybe if you find a better lady that will help you get through it easier.  Some say rebound relationships are bad news but they do work for some.  I have a good friend who was crushed for over a year over his first love and he got with some girl while he was rebounding and now they have been together a few months and he says he loves her alot and they are doing great and he can't believe he wasted so much time stressing over the last girl.  I also think prior to all the flaming this was about the funniest thread i have ever read.

X2 and well put man, i almost  needed a tissue. :shudder:

Loki

that's decent advice and all moto...but if he's still having trouble getting over one girl and he says she was the best girl to date, then by meeting new prospective women to try to get over it could be good or backfire. some people are looking for someone that will fill the void. sometimes you'll find someone, judge the crap out of them and compare them to the person you still have feelings for. I've done this and it took me 2 years to get over the fact that she wasn't coming back. (i was able to move on and we are really good friends and still love each other and all, but we cannot be together the way we once were). If i could go back and do it all over again, i wouldn't have drank 2 years of my life away pretty much by myself. I don't know the full story (nor need to know) about why Kyle's relationship went south, but like afformentioned...she's not worth the pain she's apparently trying to cause you if she's doing the things you say she's doing.

that is all...i'm sure you've heard some of this already.
