I grew up in NJ. We were all catholic. Or so I thought. The girls from the cathlic schools, that came into our high schools, were the biggest sluts.

The news reports are only the tip of the iceberg. I have no doubt.

You can find something negative about every religion... but the main point was to point out.. these people justify it.. because its still in the active scripture in the church as an everlasting covenant... and to not follow it is to be damned...  not my words..

1 Kings 11:4 For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, [that] his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as [was] the heart of David his father.

Sounds like wives means plural to me?!?!

You can post up all day how the church changes it mind..  or how the Mormon god does..  but may I have you read Doctrines & Covenants section 132 - and show me where it stopped.

OK my turn...
my wife is MORMAN her family is morman and I think it sucks as a religion
and heres why :

 :soapbox:

Until the late 70's Black folks were not allowed in the "MORMAN" church and lets see when my uncle joined the church in the 80's he was kicked out for being a free loader, he lost his job and asked the church for help, they did for the first 2 weeks, then called him a free loader and asked him to leave, so much for helping a "brother" out
Now lets go to the offerings my in-laws stayed with the wife and I for a couple months few years ago and had no money until they sold there house and he told me he had no money 'cause he had to catch up on his tithings(?) or his 10% as they say yea he stayed with us so he could pay back the church ???
Now for my favorite part the HIGHER HEAVEN LEVELS yea apparently if you pay more you get farther I dont know help me out what is it all about  :dunno:  :twocents:

OH YEA MRSW  :woohoo:  :boobs:  The Bunny keeps goin'-n-goin'-goin' :rofl2:

The news reports are only the tip of the iceberg. I have no doubt.

You are quite correct on that.  I want to kill everyone who denies this stuff ever happened.  My dad was molested when he was 8 years old by a catholic priest, I also have a professor in colege whom is around 20 years older than my dad that got molested as well.  My dad grew up in Chicago and my professor grew up in Pittsburg so it happenes every where.  Also, when someone notifies the church they are going to hold a press conference with the major news channels over the issue, the church is quick to throw a few hundred thousand dollars at the person for a gag order.  However, my dads lawyer found a hole in his gag order so the Chicago diasees (sp) got screwed anyways.

Don't take it the wrong way, it's an anti-moron thread.  I can't believe anyone would post something like that and not think twice about it, or expect a flaming.

This always gets me.. whenever you post something about the Mormon church that they dont like.. its labeled "anti-mormon".. yet nothing that has been posted has been refuted... whats up with that... truth doesnt change because of who carries it.. truth will be truth no matter what.
