Keep buggin the crap outta Pure.  Call, and ask for Rick Benson...talk to him direct for a mechanics position.

boggerunner

made some progress on the pass. side, and assembled part of my high steer

Birfailed

Phil we need more progress on this buildup!  Don't let your thread die!  Get out to the garage and weld or cut something!
Go 1-Ton from the start

boggerunner

i finished the pass. side assembly, and started mocking up the rear. still have along way to go, but its gettin closer, and these are not my new tires, the new front end is to wide to fit the boggers back on and have room to work around it.

Birfailed

Oh nice!  You got that new welder layin down some fatty beads!  I like it.  Do I see your rear driveshaft in place too?  Get that done?  Oh, you definetly need to run those tires!  Those things look mean!

Man that welder lays down some sweet beads. and i got the tabs and brackets for the top 3link bar tacked on, and the bottom bars built, now i need to move one of the bars on my A.O.R sliders foward 4 inches so i can mount the bottom links to the frame.

boggerunner

i still need to gusset the rear top link on the axle, and the front top links are off a semi trailor, so they are plenty stronr.

i had to lift the cab 4 inches to get them tacker in place, but i need to lift it another 4 or 5 inches to fully weld them up

Birfailed

lol hope I don't have to lift my cab (Exo)!!!
Go 1-Ton from the start

boggerunner

i got one of the bottom links mounted to the frame, and took some pics flexin out, now i need some longer coils, and i might try to narrow the rear frame section,  i think my boggers are gonna rub a lot!!
and i either need to notch the rear cab mount or build some bumpstops

toytank

toytank

i think after you mount your coils id romove the rest of the frame you dont need it for anything

Yota87Truck

Wow, that is looking amazing.  Soon all the hard work is going to pay off.

boggerunner

so i got after it tonight, the 3 link  is done, i just need to get some longer coils and mount some shocks, here are some pics of my truck finally off the jack stands after 4 months

boggerunner

i cut a foot or so off the frame, time for a new ass end, im  tempted to cut off the whole cage and start over, it looks like :pokinit:, but i dont have the $$ for that right now, so im just gonna redo the one im stuck with for now.  this is sittin on stock 90 4runner coils, im buying some 92 front cherokee coils on saturday, should be able to handle some more weight and flex pretty good, plus i can get the set for $25

boggerunner

ohh yeah, the last pic is my drivers floor board, used to have a piece of sheetmetal zip screwed over it with some carpet, good fix huh?  but im thinkin i still need a new cab and start fresh, but for now, back to the tin, and old muddy carpet

It looks like you have a little drafting problem....

boggerunner

i welded in a piece of box for the new rear crossmember, and angled my bottom buckets.  :flamer: also got some 1" bolts to hold the coils in place. now i just need to finish my top buckets. the frame was pathetic where i need to mount my buckets, so i plated them with some 3/16" steel.  now tomorrow night i can finish the buckets, and move on the the driveshafts and fuel tank

boggerunner

i finally got my top buckets almost done, im going to brace them to the frame with a piece of 5/16 up the sides, and im getting better at overhead welding

boggerunner

it might be overkill, but i hate having to repair underengineered junk on the trail, so i used 1" bolts for my coils. and now my truck is finally off those dam jackstands, time to get this thing running again

Yota87Truck

is it going to be ready to go wheelin on presidents day?  I am taking my truck over to moab that weekend!

boggerunner
