So I went down to MC today. HUGE thanks to Steve for the parts and service, and to CJ for the  :blah: .
I picked up a couple goodies, and just when I was heading over to the NAPA warehouse to pick up some parts for work, my charge light comes on and the volt gauge drops. Crap.  I went back to MC and used the parking lot to diagnose (alternator or regulator), then had an alt set out at the warehouse and swapped that biotch in. I ended up being stuck in Fresno for like 3 hours. :headshake:
I also got some stuff from work today... :cheese:

Regulators and torch(victor 350 series) for 30 bucks, freshly checked out.

I think your truck is rubbing off on mine.
It's not mounted yet, cuz I still have to clean up the new axle...gotta get some tanks. I might get motivated tonight, but I'm thinkin more for tomorrow.

yeah, pretty much.  I have gear oil misting out of the drivers hub on a pretty new rebuild, and with a spare axle, I figure why not. I plan on doing the early model axle, then pulling the 84 from mine, building it up, and swapping it out again.  i should be able to sell this one when I am done with it. I am also shaving this one.

It sucks to have to do it like that, but I DD it.

How's the oil gonna stay in?
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5
