that krylon Tan you used what was the name for the color? I was looking at the krylon spray paint today and couldn't find "Tan" just almond and almond saten finish....it just didn't look as tan as what you got there.

I know the can said Ultra Flat and it was actually part of their camo paints.  They are all marked camo, and ones black, ones olive drab and then one is that tan that we used.  So the can says camo and the cap says Ultra Flat.  WAIT!  I have a pic of the actual cans.  haha.  Let me find it and we'll post it in a minute.

How did you get the tar off the floor to prep for the  bedliner? I've heard ice and a putty knife werks good? The reason I ask is that I'm doing the same thing. Also, where did you get your seats and did you make the slider brackets yerself? :cheese:

Hey everybody.  I had Jan email some close-up pics of the seat brackets to Wermz.  If anyone else wants any of those just let one of us know.

In the meantime, got my rock sliders the other day!  They didn't put any Marlin stickers in with them so I called and Steve said he would put one (some?) in the mail. :clap2:

Anybody know what these little triangle pieces are for exactly?  They came with the rock sliders.  When I was on the phone with Steve he said that were braces for something but does someone have a picture of exactly where they go?

Let's see if I can explain in words.  since I cant draw a pic at work..

They are the gussets that go on top of the bar that is welded onto the frame.  There are two per bar, one around 2 O'clock and one around 10 O'clock.  Welded to the bar and to the frame to keep the slider from comming up into the cab.      I hope I explained it OK.

Alrighty, I guess this is the best place to post this.  No real progress on the big tan truck since the last post, but we did just pick this baby up as a parts truck for 500 bux yesterday!  It was my boss' daughter's truck and has a lot of new parts on it.  They didn't have collision insurance on it and she ran it into a tree last weekend.  Nobody has actually deemed it "totaled" but I guess my boss doesn't feel it's worth putting any money into.  We offered her $500 for the whole truck and she said she'd gladly sell it to us for $500 just to get it out of her driveway!    :willynilly:

It's a 92 extended cab, 4 cyl automatic.  We have yet to determine the extent of the damage but we figured at $500 we couldn't really go wrong!  :woohoo:

auto's and 4 bangers suck, although, 5 bill 3rd gen x cabs are the schiznit.
are you gonna do a manual swap, 22re swap into the 2nd gen?
personnaly i'd like the x cab better :gap: but i wouldn't do a single cab( i need an ar popping sound system)
i'm starting to wish that ca had some "long" forrest trails instead of just rock trails.
