dang- I hadn't posted in my buildup thread in forever LOL!! I must be slack.

well since I dual cased my rig I've been bothered b/c when I cut my second shifter "square" it was all crooked.  As small as this sounds it has been driving me nuts LOL. here's a pic of my day and what I did to fix it.  Will finish tomorrow.
not even square...lol

my exhaust fell off? maybe?

thanks everybody!  today after I went to a junkyard and pulled some motor mount covers for mine I cut out A LOT more floor, cut the horse collar xmember and fabbed a new one out of 2" square and some complex angles.  It is fully welded in now.

tomorrow I focus on building the trans tunnel/box and making it look decent inside.  should be fun. stay tuned

well- I built some more skidplate spacers today at work (on lunch b/c I'm an addict) and got them bolted in tonight.
so here is my status on "operation flatbelly".
both driveshafts hooked up (haven't checked flex/clearance yet)
horse collar xmember is reinforced via a 2" square "hoop" into the cab
BIG HOLE in the floor
exhaust cut off after the manifold (sounds like a zuk)  :-X

I now have to weld a new tunnel that will tie into a dash, gimme some cup holders and stereo options.  Also would like to have some sort of armrest incorporated.  Then I'll go pay to have the local shope RE- Line-X it.  there ya go.

FLATBELLY is almost complete.  next up- paint the cab and pipe, then exo, then groove the tsl's like a madman.  Then do some basic maintenance for my trip to Callantee in November

thanks, I try to keep something going on that's worth looking at.  it's tough to compete with all the sweet buildups on this board (shamb, yotadork, bigmikes saga, unbreakable etc...) there are others I like but can't remember

i noticed you spaced up the sky skidplate, did you make some spacers or do they make a kit?

you are a perceptive one aren't you?  I made some.  they are simple but sturdy and effective. total time was like 45 mins.

I haven't been on this board in a while b/c my girl said that if I didn't cut down the bbs addictions she was leaving. can't let that happen b/c I'm WAY too ugly to do this well again.

I've gotten a lot done since last pics here.  my current plan is dovetailing the front and a completely new EXO (next w/k)... here's some shots of my rig as it's progressing

btw- I love the flatbelly
this was it 2 days ago (nevermind the exo cage "drafting")
