Are you exoing around the bed? ditching it for a flatbed? Tube the rest and leave the bed alone?

hers some pics of the 91 donor cressida that my parents bought for 300 bucks with a blown tranny so the could repair another cressida that ran underneath a trucks bumper that the picked up for 100 bucks. the donor with a blown tranny was used as a newspaper delivery carits hole life so motor should bee fairly good. i have been wanting to do this swap for a while but dint have the money for a w series tranny. some how a Buddie of mine rolled his truck bought a v6 4runner blow up the tcase and traded me the tranny to do the v6 to 4 cylinder tcase swap. and just so happens that another friend bought a 89 supra for the body panels and said that i can have what i want for free. so how could falling into a free 7mge swap be a bad idea, I'm sure i will spend some money to do general tune up stuff but i needed to do that on my truck anyways.

anyone intrested in selling me a running wiring set up. or some that is close by to show me why I'm a retard by not doing it myself. have every thing to do it with, i live in flagstaff AZ, is there anyone nearby that could lend a healping hand

just tore apart two cases to get ready for dual case plate. going to degrease the housings and sand blast them, not sure if i can get them anodized through my work if not just going to paint them i love the way shiny parts look. probably not worth it but it look good for a while.

you are using jsut the centerpin of the buggy leaf to secure it to the frame? thats all bad, you should be using some square u bolts or the like to prevent them from getting out of alignment

got some progress done today. its been awhile so heres whats been happening got my early birthday present a dual case adaptor. sand blasted all of the housings and reassembled both cases with the plate. cut every thing off the frame that didn't need to be there any more. installed the other shock mount and bump stops. started to cut out a x-member got pretty far before i realised that i was cuttin it for the wrong housing that sucks. cut off the sides of my old bumper in hopes off dovetailing the bed, did a search on bed dove tailed beds got good info on how to but dint find good pics of the finished bed from the inside view. anybody got some

actually got something done today that was worth a damn.

first pic of the one side of the rear suspension all finished up the shackles will straighten out as soon as it gets some weight on it. notice the wedgees use to have them on the front and they worked awesome but got marlins now.

second is the quick release pin that i am going to incorporate  removable mud flaps when i get busted.

third is of how i mounted the buggy springs and the new cross bar in the rear because i removed the old shock bar. going to make a rear hoop tomorrow

and the last is my u-bolt plates that i had to slot because of the of set spring perches

ok after i gotover being pissed that me setup was wrong i set out to fix it today by talking to WHITEMAN and finding out what f-150 springs to get. called the local yard and they were all up tight and wanted to charge 130 plus tax.  :hammerhead:ouch! so went to the local spring shop to ask about building some, they wanted 350 per side to build a brand a new pack up to 5 leaves each to what ever i wanted. And luckaly i a huge stack of used springs in the corner, picked through and found a set for thirty five bucks and on the way out found a lightley used set of 6" lift shackels. so scored for 55 bucks not to bad for a small town. put them in to day looks like i am going to have make a new spring hangers farther up. i will be sure and test them with only the main leafs be for i weld them. will get pics tomarrow
