Just read through the whole thing.. build is looking very nice. What kind of bedliner did you use in the cab?

got my new tires today.. 38x12.50x15  TSL's... they are bias ply and absolutely new!  I love them already (although I wish they were a tad wider... maybe that'll come as I air down and run them a bit.  I will groove them once I get over the "new tire" phase.  thanks for looking

next up is bumpstops for sure.... then a tcase skid/xmember and this and that's... she's almost done for a while

Your truck looks good!
8" or 10" width wheels? Now with 38s you won't need the flat belly. :twocents: You just gained 3 or 4 inches in ground clearance. :yesnod:

15x8 2" BS wheels.  yea- you are right about the flat belly.  it'll be just fine with a mild dtrain lift.  thanks for the kind words

wow, thanks guys.  I didn't think my buildup was moving fast LOL.  I have a few things left to do and it'll be left alone to wheel for a while.

exo
bumpstops ( almost done making them)
front locker
Longfields
super beefy front housing (almost done as well)
retube front Driveshaft
skidplate/xmember with dtrain lift
build a dash with gauges and drink holders
hydro assist steering
paint job

That is all I can think of

Hey dude, looks good. Do you have any decent pics of how you mounted the gas tank back there? I am trying to find a clean way to mount the tank between the frame rails the same way you did.

thanks

sure man.  it was either 1" or 1.5" angle iron.  I just set the tank level (by the bottom) and then welded the angle iron to the framerails and put 3 holes in the angle iron that lined up with the o/g tank mount holes.  I'll try to get a pic if that doesn't make sense.

it was super easy *it's sort of a bia to get the tank out but it can be done with 1 person and about 5 minutes

fix the tcase leak (speedo cable cross threaded?)
do the small drivetrain lift with hockey pucks or something
build a new front driveshaft or at least re-tube mine (likely)
hydro assist, gusset front axle, welded 3rd for front, longfield outers

I just look under the flatbed and their they are!  :joke:
nah- I guess they work fine... judging by the "e-stats"  They should be operating at about 40% effectiveness.  That was about the easiest way to mount them with tons of clearance.  I don't really know b/c I don't normally pay much attention to shocks  :dunno:

I kind of want to build a samurai based buggy and swap the drivetrain but then again I really like my truck
think I'll just stick with the truck and enjoy it for a while
