Help, All of a sudden, My transmission pops out of 4th gear while driving. Anyone know what causes this? All of th other gears seem to work fine.

P.S. It is an 85 4 Runner with a 5 speed trans.

Buy a rebuilt one from Marlin, that solved all my problems.

In my 79, I sheared a roll pin off of something and it did that. tranny shop put a new one in, fixed the prob...I dunno about that G series, though(or W if its EFI).

just get a bungey cord to hold it in gear
