Yea im so pumped.  As of right now i have an 05 4Runner to tow with and its not ideal, but after talking to some people it should work.  The master plan is to trade it in and get a Seqouia before may. I want something enclosed so i dont wanna get a pickup to tow with for skiing and roadtrip sake.   With money from christmas, and my birthday in Feb.  i should have enough to go 75/25 with my parents on a trailer.   May cant come soon enough!

did your truck with the IROKs on ever see road time? how'd they wear for you if you did?

Radials or Bias? I am thinking about getting the 37's but not sure how bad they will be on a dd.

TIA

Bias Ply.  Yea they saw a TON of road time.  I havent trailered until now, i drove DDing on them for at least 4 solid months.  and being on the east coast its a haul to go wheelin.  The closest trail for me was about an hour so 2 hrs road time everytime i went there, which was a LOT.  that doesnt include driving from CT to southern NH and countless trips into Western MA.  I wanna say theres a few thousand miles on them and they have worn well for me.  I was surprised actually.   you might wanna try to PM 4rnrRick on here or Pirate4x4 cause he DD'd for a while with them too.

05 4Runner with the V-8?  That should work, just make sure the trailer has some good brakes :)  You need some new tires also :)

Yea its got a V-8  definitely gonna get good brakes on the trailer too.  The tires might have to wait a little longer, but by the time i get it out here it will be on the new Iroks.  :yesnod:

I'm jealous, I won't have new tires before May.  I can't wait to see this thing on the trails!  We need to plan a big Marlin Crawler CO wheeling trip!  I've talked to some other people on here that said they would be down with that as well!

I have them.  Just have some clearance issues with them.  They still wouldnt prevent the hitting though, they would help a little bit.

Volcom

With rears up front, you don't really need bumpstops.  Just make sure you have a set of spare rears laying around.  I can't believe how much negative arch those springs will take!!

I thought you already sold your 36's

Ready for break yet?  Finals suck eh  :beerchug:

I know these springs go negative if i drive onto a curb but they just keep taking it.  i definitely need to build another pack for when these end up breaking.

i had "sold" the 36s but the deal fell through and im glad cause im gonna hold off on the 40s for a little bit.

we just had fall break and it wasnt close to enough.  i just want a nice long break to wheel and ski.  not lookin forward to finals.

Cool vid,  although it would have been nice if the un-activated emblem wasnt in the middle of the screen the whole time...
Life is too short!!!   Do something with it!!!

Matty

it was a great day and the Iroks impressed the hell out of me.  it was my first real snow run with them.  i was one of only two out of all of us to make most of the big hills and rocky sections.  the guy with the creppy crawlers owned those things worked great in the snow.
