Matty

thanks for all the nice comments.  got one pic of the painted slider, not like its that much different but hey figured id put it up.  Also ordered knuckle rebuild for my puking knuckles.  some breathers, and a bunch of diff armor and gussets.  lookin forward to it all.

Matty

check it ouuutt.   :bling: :bling: and the rear housing together, and messing around.  nothing like a little backyard wheelin. driving up that rock made me realize dual cases are next.

EDIT:  i didnt make that bed, so the BOB AND DOVETAIL ARE NEXT ON THAT!

Ramrod

that rock looks like a  perfect ramp you need to hit it at about 35

Matty

well i made a big purchase for myself today.  i ordered a dual case adapter, twin sticks, marlin crossmember, knuckle ball gussets, and some cool t shirts.   :eyebrow: i am quite excited about them coming and getting the dual cases in.     :rockingout:

Matty

well just a little update all this good stuff came in.  :turtle:

Matty

oh yes and i picked up this thing yesterday as well.   :yesnod:

pulled all of this fun stuff out of the truck tonight.  hopefully get the whole crawler together tomorrow morning.  all thanks to some help from 4.3s10 as well. :beerchug:

got the t-case apart.  main shaft, housing pieces, inners, and the most important part the crawler box.

Matty

i dont have a press, so i am getting the bearing on the mainshaft pressed out tomorrow morning and then hopefully assembling the rest of the crawler, and getting everything back into place.  :beerchug:

Matty

well i got the bearing pressed out this afternoon instead.  and i started to assemble everything else.  the snap ring on the new shaft was too much for the snap ring pliers we had so 4.3s10 took it home and he got it on, and he also welded the piece of key stock on the shift rod that we needed.  so in the morning hes brining that stuff back over we are going to install it.  and then all i need is the driveshafts for it.   :yesnod:

Matty

we ran into a slight set back because we found out that our donor case has a crack in the housing so we couldnt use it.  so we went and got another case today, and will be installing it all tomorrow, and thats when the pics will be coming up as well.  :gap:

Matty

got it all in, just need to put the front driveshaft in tomorrow, and fill the t-cases with fluids! cant wait to try it out.

Matty

i got a chance to just mess around with it.  such a big difference now.  i can idle over things instead of hammering it or wearing the hell out of my clutch.  square front driveshaft will get done this week then back to wheelin for a little while, until i install my front locker. cant beat this  :turtle: stuff

If you haven't done it yet, I highly recomend Marlins regular HD 1600 lb clutch...great feel and stick lige gorilla glue.  You'd love it.
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

Matty

well i had some major problems with my '92 4Runner and it wasn't worth fixing so i dumped that  :shake_head:.  I needed a new daily driver, and 4.3s10 works at Car Quest and one of their old parts trucks was for sale.  long story short, its an '89 2WD yota pickup, 22R with less than 40,000 on a rebuild, new tires, decent shape.  got it for a steal   :yesnod:

this was right after i got it home, it doesnt say car quest anymore and has a littlle new paint.
