No offense taken... Thanks.

Cheesy I'm glad she's on the mend. I hope she kicks that bug!

Surgery went..... I'm alive. Let's put it that way. I lost about half my body's blood in surgery so I had to get blood 3 times because my body wasn't working fast enough to reproduce. Recovery is horrible emotionally and of course physically. But each day I have a but more physical strength than the last. I can still use the prayers!!

I was just over at your FB looking for an update. I'm glad you are on the mend.  :therethere:

I could throw out some ideas but I'd have to  :teeth: with soap.

I don't know what FFC stands for.  Is it rated PG or R?

Really, it depends who you ask. There is actually a thread courtesy of Big Mike that is called "The FFC Acronym Thread" feel free to weigh in.

Recovery is going much better.  It's amazing what some quality time with my girl can do to help a mama mend. I was having a very rough time in the hospital and the first few days out because my mom had my daughter and I was unable to care for her by myself. So although I'm still very restricted, I am able to care for her for the most part now. I just have to do it slowly and methodically. It sure did boost my recovery though!

Thank you Jan! Recovery has been smooth. The results of the surgery have been disappointing to say the least though. The surgeon was only able to get about I'd say 1/3 of the issue resolved. We will reconvene in 6 months to see what if anything else, is to be done.

Nate, my heart goes out to you. I am part of an infertility group and see and hear of a lot of loss and heartbreak. But I also see a lot of love, compassion, and joy! I really hope your story continues on a joyous path with no more heartbreak. Good luck!

Nate, are you seeing a specialist?  I know your up north, but a good friend of mine, who used to frequent Marlin, his wife miscarried several times.  They actually moved to Portland to see this doctor.   Dr Dooley womens clinic, 1130 sw 22nd in pdx   Who figured out their reason why.  And helped them deliver a healthy son.

I know that everybody wants a child of their own blood line, but there are so many healthy unwanted babies out there, just needing a loving family.  So, there is always that alternative.  Several of my friends have adopted and have been blessed with beautiful children, that never would have had a chance in life if they didn't go to a good loving home.  Just throwing it out there.

We think we know the reason for the last miscarriage. A simple suplement should fix the problem. But it is still frightening. We have actually been talking a lot about adopting and may pursue it even if we do get pregnant.

Good to hear!

I knew a gal that was adopted into a family of 6.  And she ran around calling herself the "Chosen one!"  Her license plates even said CHOZEN1.  And she always had the argument over her siblings that mom and dad loved her the best because they chose her.  Her siblings loved it!!  :ha_ha:

Hey all! I can really use some prayers and all the positives thoughts you can muster. I am on pins and needles waiting to hear back from HR for a job. I've been through testing and 2 stages of interviews, and I'm down to 1 of 18 left. Tomorrow the Deputy Director will choose 10 of the 18 and call in for further interview and investigation (they're hiring 4, so really my odds are pretty good I think/hope). No guarantee on hearing from him tomorrow, but I was told he will be making his selections tomorrow. This is a career position.... which kicks working 2 days a week's butt.

please say a prayer for myself and my sister.  Monday I went to HotSprings to have a nuclear stress test done and an echo-cardiogram and while there my sister was having trouble keeping up so after my tests were over I took her to the ER.  by the time I got parked they had her in the back.   they admitted her to the hospital and the next morning did an echo on her and she has 20% function of her heart.  she had a massive amount of fluid built up and they have kept her on iv lasix the last three days.   yesterday my doctor called me and said I had 40% :thud:

I was good and it was a Dr. mistake thank goodness.  But if I didn't already have a heart problem that was enough to give me one.

Good luck to you and your sister.  Marlin Cralwer people, E pule kakou!

 the evil sister spent 10 days in the hospital but they got her blood pressure, diabetes, and heart working within limits.  well except her heart but it improved to 35%
If I would learn how to put my feet up and rest a bit I would be doing better too.

I'm still praying for you and your family Glen!!

I don't know what I would do if I was in poor health.  I want to thank God that I'm as healthy as I am.  I'm far from being where I want to be.  But with my work hours it prevents me from being as active as I really want to be.
Miss ya Dean (4THEWKN) & Kyle (KYOTA)!!
