 Duffil you ROCK! That driveshaft works fine.  I drove the Migo tonight.  Finally got to workin on it around 8, got the new driveshaft in and drove it... kinda felt a lil wierd.  So I look down and sure enough, the CV rubs on the floor.. So I have to bend some of the floor up so it doesn't rub... and I have to shorten the front driveshaft.

Glad to hear it worked out for ya!!

Well :disturbed: I guess I spoke too soon.  The driveshaft is the right one and all, but the CV is bad, it allows too much wobbling so I can't drive it or I'll blow my Tcase... time to find a CV

You mean for the rubbage issues? Yeah... needs some help there :disturbed: I think I'll focus on movin the front axle forward if possible :crossed: a ways down the road though.

You are correct.  I have to extend the frame in order to move it forward, but it's gonna have to be done, either that or cut out the firewall, and i'm not prepared to do that yet.  I have a huge list of stuff that needs to be done.  This weekend was a "break in" weekend and helped me realize what needs to be done before MCR5.

I'm not sure what you mean by redrill the perches... you mean off center the leaf from the center of the perch? :headscratch:

yeah if you drill new center pin holes in the spring perch 1.5" back and in the u-bolt plates the same distance back it will move the axle forward.  its a proven way as far as I know an am thinking of doing it myself when I get bigger tires
