You win some, you lose some.

TrackVino

Several years ago, bunch of white guys couldnt say Trevino, my last name, so they just called me TrackVino

blackdiamond

I grew up 4wheeling with my dad and their group used CB radios so everyone had a "handle".  My dad drove a mustard yellow 71 Blazer so he is Yellowjacket, my grandpa had a white Blazer and was Popcorn, one of our family friends had a white Ramcharger and was White Lightening so when I got my toy I was due for a name.  Since I grew up in Colorado where skiiing is a big sport, my truck was black and I ran the more difficult (as compared to my dad's goup of family wheelers) trails and planned to build the truck for the difficult stuff Blackdiamond seemed to fit.  I didn't like it at first, but it has grown on me and it was cool that my dad picked the name.

I currently have a Blackdiamond sticker on my tailgate that was one of the last three that Blackdiamond suspension had when the went out of business and came back under Superlift.

MiniSimp

My dad's name is Simpson
My grandparents called him "Simp"
I'm "Mini Simp"

gonzo

I don't have a specific reason for the board name.  It's just a random choice on my part.  My last name is not Gonzales so that reason is out.  I am not affiliated with the Muppets and no I have never met Miss Piggy or Kermit.  :dunno:

:psss: did I do ok Kermit?

donkeykong

I buch of friends in high school were sitting around playing smash brothers on nintendo 64, a game where all the characters from the diffrent games come together and beat each other up.  Two of the girls started to name every one based on your resemblance to the characters.  Lets just say I was the only one in the group that had plenty of chest hair at 16 so I was named Donkeykong

My name is what I do!!   :shocking:   I work at TIllamook County Creamery Association, AKA Tillamook Cheese!!  The name I wanted was already taken, even though I've never seen it pop up!!  I wanted Cowboy, because that's my name with the guys I ride with (two wheels), and it's my camp name at our local outdoor school program that I volunteer at!  www.oregoncoast.com/tcods

notajeep

I was trying to figure a new e-mail address a few years back.  At the time I had a 77 blazer and all my buddies had jeeps and the local off-raod shop didn't want to deal with anyone unless they drove a jeep....  so notajeep just seemed to fit.  That.. and there didn't seem to be any chalenge (sp) in building and wheeling a jeep because if you had the money then everything was allready made for you just bolt it in.  Now I don't mean to flame any jeep owners... got nothing but love for you.   But it was kind like ....been there done that.
You have a Jeep?  That's cute.... So does Barbi.

Rocktoy2

Rocktoy is my CB handle from way back and I have been using it online since I played Battle Zone online. Rocktoy was taken so I added the digit.

mudguts

mudguts was my handle when I drove a big rig. It's based on a Mad Max character. When the mud names started getting deep on the board here, I changed it to toecutter. My street jockey buddies called me toecutter do to my resemblance to the toecutter character in the movie Mad Max.
Asphalt ballets, burnin rubber, broken bones, scars and lots and lots of beer. We sure had a fun.

Wife to Willy Mammoth, of course, but but how Mr Willy came up with the Willy Mammoth name was pretty cool.

It was shortly after we started the build. He works in the HVAC trade, walked into the shop one day and saw a name plate that had fallen off one of the machines "Mammoth". The logo for it, preceding the word Mammoth looks like a W (although it's probably an M). Mark called me and said "I got the perfect name for the Willys..." and so the Willy Mammoth was born...

Life is like a bowl of beer flavored chocolate covered dog turds.. it makes no sense. :pokinit:

Where is the Mammoth?

How the Mammoth came to be

Number Two :pokinit:

Duffil

my stepbrothers used to say that I looked like a guy they knew named Duffy...So they took to calling me Little D, which became Duffil.

OffRoadGal

I had this name for quite a while. Years ago I was trying to come up with a name that had to do with 4-wheeling, I forget what forum I was on, but mudgal was taken, I thought of 4XGal but that looked too much like 4XL Gal, and I came up with OffRoadGal.

Prismo

Started out as part of my company name. Then Brainless started calling me Prismo so it stuck.
