I used this name to play Delta force 2 in the internet.  Decided to keep it.  Still play it sometimes, just don't have the time though.

Dual Cases = 4 Low x2

Actually that would be 1low1highx2 unless you have two front driveshafts, we can let it slide. :)

A story that few know about......

Years ago when :turtle: was just starting, I was a sophomore in HS. I would go to the shop after school and during summer break and help out my ol' man and learn about Yotas. At the time Marlin's Automotive and Marlin Crawler were a combined business working out of the same building. So I tore apart transfercases and then the next job I would be cleaning alternators from old boat cars (insert 60-80's style American car here).

We were looking for a new mechanic for the Automotive side and we hired this guy named Jon. He had red hair and a couple of tats. It turns out that he was an ex-con and we hired him because he had some decent skill and we wanted to give him a chance, aka we really needed help.

Well, atop his tool box there was a name written that read "Big Red". At first I just figured it was a nick name for his humongous tool box that was red, but one day I asked him about it and he said that that's what the guys in the joint called him (he's a red-head). So I started calling him "Big Red" and, logically, he started calling me "Big Mike".

One day my buddie was at the shop with me and he noticed that I was being called BigMike, so he started calling me BigMike at school and it somehow stuck.

I used to have a signature on my email letters that read "I am _the_ BigMike... Allow No Substitutions" and later my first (of 3) custom plate for my MR2 was "BGMK MR2"

The rest is history :gap:

orinally i was 86runner-sas. i had an 86 runner at the time and planned on doing the swap, so it seemed like a cool name. then i thought it was lame to have the sas on there when it wasnt even done. so i went to 86runner instead. sold the runner. since my 4runner was ifs and all stock i used the SKINNY_PEDAL quite often. i figured that would work for a screen name and the rest is history

Toyota, theoretically, owns 51% of Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd.  I have Toyota axles, 3RZ-fe, W56C, dual cases so it's more Toyota than Daihatsu.  Hence toyhatsu rather than Daiyota.
1991 Daihatsu Rocky, 3RZ-fe, Marlin super heavey duty clutch and pressure plate, Marlin W56-C-HD, duals, Marlin twinstick, three link front with Fox AirShox, 35's, Toy axles, 5.29:1, ARB F&R etc.

I bet you don't know where mine came from but I'll explain it to you.
It's a really interesting story you'll see

Once upon a time there was a guy with a 1988 4runner, he was learking(is that the word i'm thinking about ??? )on this forum then he decided he should subscribe on it.
There was a big moment of hesitation when he had to choose his board name but the choice came naturally.
Since he had a 1988 4runner, ok i'm sure you'll find this wierd, he decided that the "19" in 1988 wasn't necessary so he shoped it of to make "88" then came the hardest decision he had to make on this day, removing the "runner" or the "4". Since "884" wouldn't say anything, he decided to let the fifth digit you encounter when counting from 0 and the fourth when counting from 1, to the advantage of the "runner" part of the name of his toyota vehicule.

That was the fabulous story of "Choosing of a board name", by 88runner. :clap2:  :clap2:

thankyou, thankyou,  don't aplaud me to hard, I'm gonna get the big head

Sounds familiar.  I moved to CA from OK the summer before freshman year.  When I played football, everyone called me Oklahoma, then it got shortened to Oak.  halfway through my junior year, the head coach who was also my PE teacehr called me by my last name. One of the other coaches, who I had known for three years by then, had no idea who he was talking about!!

I needed to get a new email address after I quit leaching off pops AOL account about 7 years ago. So I changed it to grandeyota (grande=big. toYOTA) cause of this truck I got that was on 35s. It's stuck ever since even though I've since learned there is alot bigger stuff out there.
