OMG! Delays and all ya'll are making pretty decent time! Gonna be in town on Tuesday, and you only left on Friday... :dunno: I never drove that distance before, but I'say ya'll are doin pretty good  :woohoo: :hyper:

Yeah, dispite the problems we've both been having it hasn't been TOO bad as far as putting us behind.
Even getting to the Flagstaff KOA by 9:00ish tonight isn't too terribly bad. We didn't leave NM till 10:30, and had to stop for a good 1\2 hour at a rest area.
We are going to be beat and we have to get out early tomorrrow. Hopefully we'll all sleep well tonight.

I thought I heard you honk when you drove by the shop today in Albuquerque...

How's everything going?

Ryan

LOL we did honk too, I think it was probably around 2ish. We would have liked to stopped but we really had no time. we're way behind as it is.
We're hoping to be able to stop on the flip side!

No worries...I know you have people depending on you in California, and you gotta get there.  If you have time to stop on the way back, that'd be great!

Yes we would. We've heard you are a pretty good cook.  :yumyum:

And, the way CT attacks it, I'm sure of it!  :chew:

Have a good day, and drive safe. (Mark, no more taking pics while driving  :yikes: )

Lady Di

well this KOA sucks the big wazoo. It was just about impossible driving the LBC in here the trees were so close to the road, and while we have good satellite signal we can't get any TV.
After driving 11 hours this really blows.

Somebody heard the Mammoths were coming and they turned off the security, so that they could make their post quota.

  CT just called me.. he said he thinks we picked up another traveler. Someone trailering a gooseneck with a yellow about '82 on maybe 38's!
Said the guy pulled up next to him, waved, and pulled in behind him! LOL

They aren't too far behind us. Wish we had a back window

Hi guys!!

Just checking in before I head off to work to see where you might be at this time. Marlin left about 30 minutes ago. We are trying to get CJ's truck going for the round-up, but for some reason there is a noise in his motor.  Marlin went in early to tear it down and find out what the problem might be. Hopefully, it's not a major issue.

See you soon.  Have a safe trip here. :driving:

Love you guys!

this has got to be the most depressing area!
I know anyone that has cruised through here as seen this.
The 'come see the indian sitting in the mountain cave' WTF!!!
Can you say exploitive? I can't believe people stop and sightsee this.
"OH BOB! LETS GO STOP AND LOOK AT THE REAL INDIANS!"

Those mountains are so beautiful and they are totally ruined by all that tacky carp :trout:

You probably can't see in the last picture but on top of that ledge are all these plastic looking animal statues

that would have been cool but he went blasting by us doing a good 80mph. That was a least an hour and half ago.
We just passed him pulled over to the side of the road.

We're coming up to a fuel stop for CT. Didn't make it as far as the stop where there was an autozone
