Its about time you guys get back out west.

We are all looking forward to seeing you guys again.

Hope you found the reason why air was getting into the fuel system when you shut the motorhome down.

Wish you both a safe trip, see you soon       Marlin   :driving:

Hey Marlin :smooch:  Can't wait to see you guys again  :hyper:

Mark took care of the fuel system last year, I think it was the fuel pump going bad if I remember correctly. We've had some minor problems on the trip, nothing perplexing anyway. Hopefully things start going smoothly :crossed:

See you soon :woohoo: Tell Christine any help she needs I am there to help! :whip:

The problem is "BANKS" kit I installed a couple years ago has never been right.

I am getting 22 psi of boost barely, but up hills at full power the exhaust temp only goes to 1000*. I should see at least 1300 to 1400 on hard climbs.

The fuel rate in the pump in not up to par with the "special custom fuel cam" that came with the kit. There is no more adjustment left to increase the fuel rate.

I can't find the old cam to put back in. The engine had more power before all this.

Maybe I can find a Cummins dealer and pick up a better fuel cam?

Any way, back on top of the engine.

My father-in-law just called, he's in WI for a class reunion.
My sister-in-law is at his house watching over things (Mark's mother had had a stroke and while can get around OK, it more affected her eyesight and and her mind is :screwy: although she thinks she is just fine).

Well, when we asked my FIL about watching the dogs he checked with my MIL and she was OK with it. Now he says he spoke her and my SIL and my MIL is calling him a liar and says she never agreed to watch them

He wanted to know if he could bring the dogs back to the house and check in on them a couple times a day, leaving them alone at night :tantrum: I put Mark on the phone.

Mark was not keen on that at all, and told my FIL he and my MIL agreed to this and he needs to deal the situation. Well my FIL will be back home tomorrow so hopefully he will get this straightened out :shake:

THIS JUST IN :hyper:

Mark did some adjustments to the cam as the was talking about above, we're on the road now.. IT MOVES (much better, anyway).
We're at 24 lbs boost at about 75 mph, and he's seen the boost as high as 34 lbs and about 1250 exhaust temp.
At 75 mph and 24 lbs the exhaust temp is about 1000*

:woohoo: It actually accelerates up the hills! :bud:  WE'RE CRUISIN!

CT that's only 5 miles over the speed limit. That's where we keep it so it depends on the speed limit as to how fast we go. In CA it's going to be right about 55mph.

They have the 5.9L inline 6 Cummins like in Dodge trucks.

Mark I know you love diesels but I think you are getting a little too cozy with that one, you even have it in your bed and there is no room for Mrs. W!!!

this is the campground we're at www.shallowcreek.com ... at first glance seems very froo-froo... spa, pool, golf course... :shake:

Here's the spa (that little brown shack)... right on the main road..that's the corner of our LBC on the L in the first pic, and where that truck is coming in is off the main road. The pool is just on the other side of the drive (the green fence to the R in the first pic, it's attractive but its on the main road) :talkingn:

The sites seem nice enough, concrete, easy to park and set up... except most of the sites are so sloped people have multiple blocks under their levelers! :slap: I don't know how well you can see it in that trailer... but it had like 3 blocks under the front and the tires are on pads as well.

Our spot wasn't TOO bad but the back tire is still of the ground.

In the last pic you can see the golf course in the distance. It's too hot to get closer to get a picture.

Oh and Mark just lost his free wifi!  :slap:
