x2 this could have been addresses by our elected officials, I believe in the right to protest and even in pushing a little but when it comes to down right thefts, vandalism and pure acts of violence the original point seems to get nulled,
Where is the voice addressing the consequences to these actions?
Where is the voice calming the violence?
where is the national guard?    (seen a few but nothing to what needs be)    (seems with the covid they should have been well organized)
Is there way more to all of this?

This morning I was briefly watching HLN "Morning Express With Robin Meade". 

It is absolutely mind-boggling how she spun the activities of the DC rioters as "peaceful".

Between Saturday and Sunday the DC police arrested 106 people for various criminal acts during the demonstrations including felony rioting.  It's pathetic that most of them are not prosecuted and released the same day.

Fake news at its best!!

Then I switched back to Fox News for real fair and balanced reporting. 

The difference between the two news reporting descriptions of the same incidents is night and day! 

It is so blatantly obvious of the radical left's pathetic psychopathic attempt at the destruction of Trump's Presidency and the continued attempt to completely destroy America and our Constitution.

The evil we are witnessing is beyond maniacal!

Hmmm, seems like so many other groups. The "protesters" are being "peaceful", then a "percentage" of the "protesters" are rioting. Of the rioters there are a "small percentage" that are committing acts of violence ant looting. AND, you "can't blame" the majority for the acts of the minority, after all, they're not the ones committing those unlawful acts. I've heard this argument so damn many times. No, you morons, you're all guilty if you do nothing to curb those problems committed by your community. Goes for any group be they based in religion, race or political. Even goes for law enforcement. You got that too huh. My questions are, why was the guy in that predicament? Why did the cop feel he needed to use force of any kind? Not that I haven't seen cops go off the rail for no reason. If he was sniffing a daisy..... It's been said that cop has a history, ok, but what about the other guy? I can't believe the "victim" is completely innocent.

The thing about these news stories is, if I wasn't  there to actually witness it I'll never know what truly happened.
The guy could have been acting up or the cop over doing it.  OR both. 

Working security since 1995 i know that  mob mentality can be dangerous and illogical.  These violent protests are unproductive.  Save the violence for protecting loved ones.

Around a Thanksgiving family dinner back in 1987 when Reagan and Gorbachev were duke'n it out, the topic of war and civil unrest came up.  I said I wasn't concerned with a nuclear power like Russia or China messing with the USA... they'd lose, and nuking us would be stupid because they'd get it back twice as much.  Nuclear radiation renders the land unlivable and useless for many years.

My concern was a crazy roving band of murderous anarchists that decide to destroy everything in their path ..... OH... like the riots now happening everywhere!!

If the 35,000 New York police cannot protect 1 city block from being ravaged, my local police would not protect my house from a band of Antifa jacked up looters.

And now there is bizarre insane talk of dismantling the police departments!!!!!!!!!!!!... that would be a Hollywood horror movie.

I'm in a heightened state of SELF PROTECTION AQUISTION mode right now. 

In January I was at DEFCON 5, but now I am moving to DEFCON 4, then DEFCON 3.

When I left the Army I swore I'd never carry a weapon again, unless it became necessary. When I see idiots holding signs saying "defund the police" or "dismantle the police forces" I see the necessity for arming myself growing quite rapidly. We do need the (I don't believe I'm saying this) police. The people that get out of hand are the people that create the need for the police. I hate the police, not what they represent, not what their role is in our community, I hate what they have become, I hate how they conduct themselves. That's a long, drawn out passionate argument from me, on the entire jokestice system in our country. The entire system needs a rework.

If we were truly civilized we would not have the need for a police force. The lock and key would be nonexistent. Every issue would be resolve in conversation. With that said, no, we are not civilized, we are nothing more than egomaniacal animals.

Watching what is happening in our country right now is making me more concerned for the safety of my family and myself than I ever imagined.

The level of radical insane behavior, violence and chaos is something out of a Hollywood horror movie!

I am glad I live in Arizona with our open carry and conceal carry laws.  At least if a radical lunatic wants to cause harm or becomes violent against a citizen, they will know that person is likely to be packing some heat.

I live in a rural area with miles of open desert in any direction from our small subdivision, but I'm getting more concerned that a roving band of ravaging BLM or Antifa crazies may decide to terrorize a housing community.

Is anyone else feeling a threat level that doesn't seem real?
