Trump signed an Executive Order that violators who deface or destroy Federal monuments or statues will face a minimum of 10 years in prison!  :beerchug:  :usa:

The DHS has now readied a special highly trained team their “Rapid Deployment Teams” that will go to any site quickly and protect the monuments.  I doubt those bad-a$$ boys will be just standing and taking those pansy-a$$ little moron’s pathetic and vile screaming insults.  They WILL BE kick’n some butt! And it’s way over-due!!  :beerchug:  :usa:

News says black and white colors to be removed from police cars.  Washington team to be renamed from Redskins.

Is this overboard?

I have both Black blood and and Native American in my veins.  I couldn't care less about these "political" moves.  Black white police cars or the Redskins...my feelings are not hurt by these names or colors.  I know who I am and I know not much can hurt me, verbal or otherwise.

Sure, tornados are short lived, but this "storm" has been brewing for a hundred years and has steadily gained momentum. It is long from over.

The list of things you cannot change in people is long, hatred being close to the top of the list. Fuel that hatred with opposing hatred and watch the sparks start a fire, a fire that is fueled by hatred.

No, it's not a storm, it's a small flame that is growing into an out of control conflagration. This is still just the beginning.

I wish it was just smoke or small fire with a growing wind behind it, it would mean we have a chance of getting a hand on it before it blows up, unfortunately, I think it is more of an iceberg, that we have been telling ourselves was just sea ice as we approached.  In 2016, we realized it wasn't sea ice but an iceberg, tried to change course, but hit it, and it ripped a hole in our hull, we are sinking, and there are only enough life boats for a little more than 1/2 the passengers.  The issue now, isn't whether or not the ship can be repaired, it is lost, the issue is who gets the life boats, the Socialists or non-Socialists.

Naahhh….. God is in control.  I don’t buy into the doom-and-gloom attitude.

There is a large silent majority of well-educated Constitution-loving patriots and Trump will win by a landslide.

The socialists and anarchists have demonstrated very dramatically why the American voting public will squash them like a rotten tomato.

The democratic-socialist party will suffer an historical defeat that they may never recover from.

A Covid-19 vaccine will be announced or released before 2021.

Gnarls.

The silent, constitution loving who knows our actual history majority, that decided they had had enough with the Socialists attempts to take control through violence in the 1960's, and elected Nixon in a landslide in '68, no longer exists, their numbers have dwindled to just 25 million, and those of them who don't personally like Trump, will be voting for Biden, believing that he isn't a Socialist puppet, but a Moderate.  The numbers, also don't support the likelihood that there are enough of us, who like our pre-boomer generations, to be able to stave off Socialists for the next several elections, which would be needed, if we are to resolve the issue peacefully.  This is how the current gens break down by the numbers,

Silent/Greatest.....25 million  those who support Socialism 1-2% or 250-500k
Boomer................68.7 million those who support Socialism 12% or 8.244 million
X-gen..................65.13 million those who support Socialism 25% or 16.283
Millennial.............82.22 million those who support Socialism 54% or 45.221 but 70%, 57.544 state they would vote for a socialist
Z-gen..................86.4 million those who support Socialism the current 18-20yr old poll around 70% support of socialism, or possibly 60 million by 2038

Due to the indoctrination of our youth into Socialism, from TV shows they watch before they go to kindergarten, the curriculum they are educated under in K-12, the 90% of tenured Professors and 96% of all new Professors they study under in collage across all fields in college, the media, and even the majority of churches they attend, there is little if any chance we can turn the tide through voting, hoping that the Millennials will mature out of believing in Socialism, when their Boomer and X-gen counterparts did not, especially since now we have the Z-gens who are even more inclined to be socialists than their Millennial counterparts.

The 20th century has shown us that wherever Socialists have risen to power, they have been incapable of living peacefully with their non-Socialists counterparts, and have sought to eradicate their society of any opposition or dissent, it will be no different once they take control again here in the U.S.  The question isn't whether or not there will be another bloody civil war, the question is will the blood loss be mutual on the battlefield, wherever the field is, or will it be one sided, as Socialist purge America of its anti-Socialist dissenters/opposition, just as China, Cuba, and Venezuela, are doing today.

hopefully they put the ones torn down back up,  I do not believe in deleting history good or bad.
however if the people have a vote and it is chosen to be taken down it is what it is,
I highly believe in my ways but always say majority rules whether I agree or not, not to be confused with my rights being stepped on.

Agree in part, but not about allowing the people to vote to take them down.  The fatal flaw of democracy, is that it allows the people to vote themselves into a dictatorial oppressive government, which Socialism is, and is something 70% of our under 40 population, regardless of party affiliation, has a positive view of, and would be willing to vote for.  This fatal flaw is something that must be challenged at every turn, allowing the people to vote away anything they dislike, lays the foundation for them to be able to vote away their very right to vote, or at least to have a choice of who they vote for, something that we have seen take place here in CA when it comes to the general election.

I think we passed overboard, the moment the idiots in Minneapolis burnt down the police station, we are well on our way to absurd.

Never really thought Police cars should be black and white, they should all be neon pink, so you can see them easily when they are coming up behind you on the road, and at night run a pink light so you can still see them when they are behind you.

Like you, I have American Indian blood, two great grandmas were 100%, and like you I have no issue with the name Redskins, nor the outcome of the Europeans arrival in the new world. Due to the American Indian culture not evolving past that of a hunter gatherer society, their culture was doomed as dictated by evolutionary law, i.e. whenever two entities vie for the same resources, the weaker one will always succumb to the stronger one.

Those who have an issue with the name Redskins, don't have a clue to where the name came from.  The founder of the Redskins, had a fascination with American Indian culture, he was a fan of the style of play that Indian football teams had, which focused more on passing than running and ran a lot of trick plays, and wanted to bring that style of play to his team.  This is why he fired the head coach after just one year in existence, and hired Coach Deitz, an Indian, who was well known in college football, and had taken two teams to the Rose Bowl.  He apparently changed the name from the Braves due to not wanting to confuse Boston fans between the football team and the baseball team, both being Boston teams at the time.  It is just absurd to think that the Marshall would chose a derogatory term for his team, given who he was, and what he wanted his team to be, he even built an advertising campaign around the team, inviting attendees to dress in Indian garb in support of the team.  If Snyder changes the name, hopefully he just renames them "The team formerly known as the Redskins due to all the crying Snowflakes"

Yep, yep, yep, Native American genetics make up a good portion of my DNA as well. Dads parents were both 1/2, and moms dad was 1/2 as well, and he came from Oklahoma. The terms 'Redskin', 'Okie' and 'redneck' don't bother me in the least.

As for Trump? Sorry guys, can't offer support there. Had personal experience with that, uh, person, and I will NEVER offer him my support, for anything. If he were to offer me a million in cash I'd tell him to stuff it. I don't want to hear anything more about him. Nothing said or done will change my mind.

Erasing history is one of the dumbest ideas I've heard of. History is history, good or bad, eliminating monuments will do nothing to change that. Next they'll want to eliminate the U.S.A. for having such a history. That was then, this is now, tomorrow is tomorrow. Don't let yesterday ruin today or tomorrow will be the same and will never come. Learn from the past to improve today and tomorrow will be better. Yeah, had to say that again as people today have no clue.

With that said, don't tell those that have experienced relative events in history how it was if you were born after the fact.
Different vector, to keep things away from todays issues. The hole in the ozone layer has healed, and it didn't take a thousand years. The air is not worse than it's ever been, I don't have to cut a chunk out and grind it to breathe it. CO2 levels are still historically low. Weather and temps aren't getting worse, just keeping up the typical changes. Don't believe the hype and fear mongering.

There are two realities. One physical, and the other mental.  You can take the blue pill or you can take the red pill.  The blue pill is the democratic socialist destruction of America.
If you want to get a shocking and vivid image of what the blue pill does, read “Socialism Sucks” by Robert Lawson and Benjamin Powell.

Unlike in the Matrix, our pills are true physical realities. There is nothing fake about COVID-19, and there is nothing fake about what socialism has done to millions and millions of humans who are suffering now and have suffered the most horrific way to die… starvation and torture.

So far, a utopian perfect world does not exist.  Trump is far from a perfect President.

Many people can live in their heads and have your feelings and live in their mental reality about President Trump. To many, he is the epitome of an egotistical chauvinistic narcissistic elitist.  BUT.. he’s way better than the blue pill alternative.

The red pill is what Trump has created – the best life and prosperity for life that Americans have ever experienced.  Then the world was hit with a dose of China’s evil that was not imagined since the 1918 Flu Pandemic (Spanish Flu) infecting 500 million people – then 1/3 of world’s population. It came in 4 successive waves and killed somewhere between 17 million and 50 million.

To quote Jessica Baron, a tech ethicist, who wrote a brilliant article in Forbes magazine in 2019…

“The good news is that The Matrix is fiction, not the future. In the film, humans only got one chance to take the pill. We get a new chance every day. Our votes, our dollars, our voices, our support of advocates, our efforts to understand the world better, even our choice of social media all give us an opportunity to support or reject the future other people are trying to decide for us.”

Everyone has a choice.

I really hope this violence and destruction going on in those states that are being destroyed by those moronic and evil democrats is going to be a serious wakeup call to the voters and they pull their heads out of their anal cavities and vote those anti-American democratic socialists out of their states forever!  :shocking:

It is so blatantly obvious who is to blame for these horrific murders and criminal violence!!  :willynilly:

Problem is, even if they do wake-up, most will still vote for Biden, believing he is a moderate, and with him in office, all this nonsense will go away, as they faithfully believe Trump is the cause of the unrest, and not the product of what their Dem party has done to the nation.

Is the government, medical experts, and corrupt media in bed with the pharmaceutical companies!!!!!

Death counts is in how the cause of death is recorded, which may be why SK, Japan, and others have low totals, also, deflating numbers has a political benefit as well.  Here, anyone who dies infected with wuhan is recorded as a death caused by wuhan, regardless if they died due to something else.  Many during the outbreak, weren't even tested, and just assumed to have had wuhan, inflating the numbers, also, due to federal $$$ and being an election year, there is a financial/political benefit to recording as many deaths as you can as related to wuhan.

If this were not an election year with a non-Socialist in office, I am sure this whole wuhan virus issue would have been handled a whole lot differently regarding the meds that are out there showing promise, hell they would likely be giving hydroxychloroquine away for free.

I am a proud white American
God choose this life for me
If you want to call me privileged
That's alright you see
My grandparents had nothing
They worked hard for every dime
They taught my father if he wanted something
To work hard all the time
He could have spent his time
Wasting his life away
He choose to make a better life
He worked hard every day
Life was never easy
Because the color of his skin
He made the choice to rise above
Now let that sink in
My life has not been easy
Because my skin is white
Life has dealt me many blows
Life taught me to fight
If you think my lifes been easy
Because I'm a lighter shade then you
Take the time to see the pain
And battles I've been through
It was only my decisions
Not the color of my skin
That made me who I am today
Or who I could have been
Life is made of many roads
Ones we all must take
Dont blame the color of your skin
Blame  the choices that you make
The only difference between us
Is a decision on which road
My skin has never kept me
From reaping what I sewed
If you are filled with hate and anger
It's not the color of your skin
I could be just as bitter
That choice comes from deep within
Each and everyone of us
Must walk our choice alone
Who you are and what you become
No one else can own
If you are angry and bitter then take it up with him
God made you perfect in his eyes
God loves the color of your skin
Dont look at what you think I have
Unless you look into my heart
Which by the way is the same color as yours
Choices is the only thing that sets us apart
One day this will all be over
I will see my makers face
Choices not color will decide
Whether I stay or leave that place.

I think rioting to prove I have been done wrong would serve to prove I'm a moron

I'm happy to help people but they be trying to help themselves.  Example:Plenty people around here ask me for favors.  "Can I borrow some gasoline?"  OK..once .  No Payback then NO!

I never ran out of gas in my life.  I work and take care of my business, no hand outs only favors between friends.  Reciprocity.

For an idea of why we likely wont avoid another bloody civil war, read this article about Seattle's latest attempt to reduce racism within in its employees
https://www.city-journal.org/seattle-interrupting-whiteness-training

It goes as far as stating that the very things that make a person successful, individualism, perfectionism, intellectualization, and objectivity, as the root cause of racism. This is the type of crap our Millennial and Z gens have been spoon fed since before gradeschool, and now being pushed by employers, both government and private, and can't be corrected peacefully.

While I believe a “bloody civil war” is possible, intellectually it’s a stretch for me.

The list of riots and civil unrest historically in the United States is very long - 100s and 100s!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_incidents_of_civil_unrest_in_the_United_States

This racial thing going on has been going on for centuries.

I agree that the racism claims and resulting chaos may not be corrected peacefully, and it may never be fully quelled.

It is well documented that our schools have been brainwashing our kids for generations with a hate-America perversion.

Things are about to change, and the evil will be met with a force of good and righteous people.

It's happening....  :yikes:

A radical liberal St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner, funded by Soros, has publicly declared that she is looking for criminal charges to bring against the two lawyer and home owners who were defending their lives and their property in St. Louis MO when the rioters threatened them with murder.  Officers have gone into their home, via a warrant, and confiscated the rifle from the couple – Patricia and Mark McCloskey.

This is what our 2nd Amendment is all about and exactly why our Founding Fathers made it our Constitutional right for protecting citizens against what happened!

They are both attorneys and should have known what the firearm laws are in their State.

They brandished a lethal weapon, and specifically pointed it at the rioters.  In MO that may be a Class E felony.  I’m surprised they both were not arrested.  They now have to prove their behavior was justifiable in a court of law, and may have to convince a jury.  If they are convicted, such a conviction can bring up to four years in prison, one year in jail, and/or a $10,000 fine.

If you have voted for or going to vote for a democrat, this is what you should expect to happen to one of our most important constitutional rights, if a radical socialist gets into office - they will take your gun by force.

To quote a well known metonymic adage... "The pen is mightier than the sword."

That is only when the sword at your side is mightier than the other's.  The Soviets would have never signed the START treaties if their nukes were anywhere near as capable as ours were, and it is why the ChiComs refuse to participate in any now unless we first decrease our capability to theirs  It is also why Canada, Mexico, China, and others have all agreed to our trade terms under Trump, their economic sword is limp.

It also only works when the other believes you are wiling to use your mightier sword against them, something Iran, NK, Venezuela, etc., believe we are not willing to do, due to the political fallout, something that needs to be changed.

This is what our 2nd Amendment is all about and exactly why our Founding Fathers made it our Constitutional right for protecting citizens against what happened!

They are both attorneys and should have known what the fire laws are in their State.

This is the problem with our legal system, Prosecutors, like Police Officers, are not supposed to look for a way to charge someone with a crime when no visible crime has occurred.

The castle doctrine law in MO allows for them to do exactly what they did.

Castle Doctrine for MO
The use of force to defend one's self is justified when the person believes there is a certain risk of death, or great physical harm. This also applies when someone is trying to break into an occupied vehicle or home. There is no duty to treat inside one's home or vehicle."

Unfortunately, like Police officers, there is little to no downside for Prosecutors who abuse their power, they are deemed act w/p bias, and the bar to prove otherwise is set extremely high, when they acyt they are acting as the State, and as a subject you have no legal right to refuse, just deal with whatever BS they bring down upon you, and then play out your hand in Court if you and spend the money to do so, or submit to their demands when you can't  Hell Prosecutors will even go as far as create charges using several laws when they can't charge you under one, just as Weissmann and Mueller did when they charged and convicted ENRON executives, convictions that were overturned 9-0 by SCOTUS.

As far as should have known the law, Lawyers, like Dr.'s, they specialize in specific fields, if they don't practice criminal law, they likely haven't reviewed a criminal code since law school.  Also, the MO castle doctrine is pretty explicit in what it allows.

They weren't arrested because the DA currently hasn't figured out how to charge them with an actual crime, as brandishing a weapon in a threatening manner to non-residents on your land tends to not be a crime, even here in Komiefornia.  My guess is, she issued the warrant to simply disarm and punish them, under the guise of them posing a risk to the community, the guns are suspected of being illegal etc., but doing so in order to make them safer targets for the BLM mob.   Of course it is BS, and done just to cost them money, as they will have to pay to get them back.  What is disgusting, is that the MO Governor and AG, are Republicans, and neither are stepping in on behalf of the homeowners.

S..

You make some valid points.  We can agree to disagree.

I don’t know the specific firearm laws in Missouri or California.  As I mentioned, here in AZ if you brandish a firearm and point it in a direction of anything and your actions are deemed unsafe or threatening, you will have broken Arizona State laws, and it could be up to 4 felonies, regardless of your need to protect your life, life of family or property, 2nd Amendment right, and threat of eminent death to you.  If indicted and have to go to court, you will have to hire a very good attorney to defend you and prove in a court of law that you were justified in your actions.  One of my good friends was a defense attorney in SoCal, and once told me that 1 out of every 4 people convicted of a crime were not guilty of the crime they were convicted for!

Those two MO lawyers were scared sheetless, as most of us would be.  BUT… they still should have known what the State of Missouri firearm laws are for possessing and brandishing a lethal weapon.

Like most laws, they are open to an incredible amount of interpretation – thus the phrase practicing law.  The Castle Doctrine in Missouri does not provide impunity or protect a person from being prosecuted, convicted, and sent to prison.  Clipped from Google .. “A legal doctrine is a framework, set of rules, procedural steps, or test, often established through precedent in the common law, through which judgments can be determined in a given legal case.”

My point… all the laws on the books did NOT protect them from a life-threatening mob or their US Constitutional Rights from being trampled!!

When a society goes lawless, it’s law abiding citizens are in grave danger!

Back in 2008, when Obama appeared, I said we will see our Constitutional and civil rights begin to disappear and the level of corruption that will be exposed will be unbelievable.

No surprise there, and it is probably more like 3 out of 5, most Prosecutors are thugs, especially the ones that are politically motivated or like to think of themselves as crime fighters delivering justice.  This is why the overcharge and seek to bankrupt their targets financially and emotionally, forcing you to submit to them without going to trial.  Very few outside the legal system, understand the amount of weight a Prosecutor can bring to bear on a you, and has nearly 100% immunity to do so, even when they know you are innocent of the charges.

Quote

Based on the MO laws, they likely did.

Quote
Like most laws, they are open to an incredible amount of interpretation – thus the phrase practicing law.
That is not the standard that SCOTUS has set regarding how laws are to be written or practiced, laws must be explicit in its language and clearly state what act(s) the law is prohibiting, and government must apply them the same, from one case to another.  The gov. is supposed to treat the law as black and white, if your act does not meet what is written, it should never seek to investigate that act, or seek charges when they don't, it is the role of the Defense Attorney to turn the law grey in your defense.  Our legal system is founded on Blackstone's law, "It is better for a 1000 guilty men to go free, than to send an innocent man to prison", unfortunately, something most Prosecutors no longer subscribe too.

MO § 563.031. Use of force in defense of persons
https://lawofselfdefense.com/statute/mo-563-031-use-of-force-in-defense-of-persons/
Section 3 applies directly to them

571.030. 1. A person commits the crime of unlawful use of weapons if he or she knowingly:
https://law.justia.com/codes/missouri/2005/t38/5710000030.html
Section 5 is the exception to the law due to Section 3 of the above.

MO is an open carry State, which really doesn't matter due to them being on their own land in a private community, once not in public, carrying laws, open or concealed, don't apply as far as the law prohibiting that same act in public goes.

The only thing that is up to interpretation is whether or not their actions were reasonable, and that may not even be an issue, due to the fact that they were on their own property and dealing with a mob of trespassers at the time.

Sadly, you are correct, the laws and the Constitution does not protect them, nor you or I from abuse by the State, like I said we have to submit to that abuse and play the hand we are dealt fighting it in Court.

As most of us aware people know, the US citizens have been used, abused, tortured, and manipulated for decades by the now a highly exposed corrupt government - from local to State to DC, and in practically every agency or organization that has any connection to the "government"!!

One thing about the "silent majority" that has always aggravated me is that their, too often, silence has contributed to the downfall we are facing now.  The boomers should be outraged at what is happening and be prepared to get to their poles or mail in their ballots and vote those moronic hate-America SOBs out of everything!!

If we, the silent majority, and all who care about our Constitution and the American way of life, do not get off our lazy butts and VOTE, I don't want to read any bellyaching about your pathetic life!

What do you think is causing so many people in America, millions, to behave with such hatred and evil?
