No, not exactly.  The Trump Tax cuts did work, the economic prosperity of the nation pre-wuhan lockdowns were proof of this, and under Trump, even with the tax cuts, the federal revenue grew by $400 billion between his first year in office and his last.  However due to the nature of government, no amount of economic prosperity and/or increase in taxes will ever lead to a balanced budget, let alone a surplus used to pay down the debt, like Trump believed the tax cuts would.  The reason for this is the "mandatory" spending portion of the federal budget, which is now at 62% and covers SSI/SSD/Medicare, natural disaster relief, and all other programs the feds are required to pay for by law, is an amount that is not known until the fiscal year is over.  The mandatory spending portion of the budget is what is driving the deficit, and until we cap those programs at the amount budgeted for each year, we can't even begin to address the deficit.

Yes, when it comes to the national budget, deficits and debt no longer matters.  Sure, at one time it did due to credit rating of nations which effected bond rates, but due to the global bailouts in '08/'09 due to the collapse of the housing bubble, they no longer do.  As I mentioned, every developed and developing nation is running a deficit, and their national debt, ranges between 50-300%+ of their GDP, including China, a debt that grows every year, which makes it impossible for any nation to ever pay it down.

Yes, under past conditions, hyperinflation is bad, like in Germany in 1921-'23, where your paycheck's value dropped between being cut and cashed, and pre '08, it would have still be an issue, but when the G8 decided to print money rather than allow their people to suffer financially with the collapse of the global banking industry, the issue of hyperinflation became no more. 

If we were to decide to take action against inflation, due to the amount of money that we have printed, for those with good/great credit home loan rates would have to be 15-20%, with credit card rates in the upper 20's, same with car loans, which would kill off the economy here and the global economy with it.

The world's debt is so much beyond our ability to repay, the only option for the world to return to a pre '08 condition, would be to declare global bankruptcy, zeroing out all foreign/domestic debt held and all the wealth that is held in that debt, something that we should/could have done in '08, and chose to print money instead.
