We definitely need some more info.   ~~It's really hard to read your posts.~~   Each time you post up, we get a little bit more of the info needed. 

Best thing to do, is call 1-559-25CRAWL (1-559-252-7295) like I said earlier.  They can help you the best.  Cause, in your first post I was assuming that the adapter was new.  So, give them a call and have the # ready that is stamped on the case.  We can all speculate on what happened, but it will be Marlin with the best answer since they are the professionals.  :thumbs:

glad to hear it was just bearings and not more.  that shouldn't be to bad of a fix.

The bearing will die if you use the wrong gear oil too...  I built a crawl box for a buddy and he put some synthetic 50/140 gear oil.  It lasted about 2 years before it started growling, once it started he pulled it apart to find the lower bearing was cracked and the cage was busted up.  New bearing and the proper gear oil it's going strong to this day. :greengrin:
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

no it was a bareing for sure because i got the case from a guy  who got it second hand and  he beat it for years because  that guy was a crazy mofo i knew him. so it was technically third hand  :smack: :smack: :hammer: but my budy who  set up my duals has ben wheling his set up for just about six years now and no problems and he has set up five dual t case setups  no problems but mine  so my guess the case  needed rebilt  :smack: :maddest: :bull crap: :hammerhead:
