Yo everybody Glen ( 79coyotefrg) convinced me to join this rag tag group of wheelers
In the process of getting 4x4 out of my 04 Pre-runner. I have everything minus either a new tranny and T-case or glens new idea of getting the marlin dual case adapter so i can have even more fun!

nope but all i need are like 12 total posts, did you finding anything else out about the engine mounts for that crawlbox?
If things workout I might be able to do the jambo if i get that box

ok so i have a 04 taco 2.7. wannn go 4x4-i got the entire front end IFS parts i need but now i'm stuck. i wanna keep my Tranny so glen tricked me  into thinking about getting the marlin crawl-box adapter so i can just remove my tail housing bolt it right up and use a stock lefty T-case. I know on his 79 model having dual cases can sometimes tear through the motor mounts. could this same thing happen to my 2.7?


Possibility of dual case =priceless

just build some custom motor mounts with poly bushings if you are worried!!

teeeeeny tiiiiiiny difference........ you just get the extra snap to the axles with more solid built motor mounts.... why do they call them motor mounts anyway? I thought motors were electric and engines were combustion......

what you mean more snap? this is my first dual case setup so i'm a newbie

better response (throttle) more power gets into the driveline/axles rather then loosing the torque through rubbbber ........ its not as complicated as it sounds!

well, i talked to Marlin and he said  he didnt think it would work but i think he was confused about it being a regular 2wd truck

I talked to Brendan (freds40) and he's making some calls to find out what we need
