just some advice, the turbo 22rtec is not all that glorious, my friend has one, talk about problems, not worth it, 22re is way more reliable
Good to know. I probably wouldn't ever find one anyway. They had some cool trim though. Plus the r151f tranny or whatever.

I agree. When they work they are fun but a lot more problematic than the good ol 22RE

So, I sold the rig, now I'm gonna keep on the lookout for a clean 1st gen. 4Runner.
I'd like to SAS one and put it on 35's by summer.
I want to run chevy's in the rear and do the toyota/wagonneer springs up front with 5.29s and aussie lockers and hopefully some MTRs.
I still got a Marlin Adapter + Tcase that I'd like to mate up too.
I'm pretty excited for this summer if everything works out, gonna try and hit up the Rubicon and camp a bunch up at the High Lakes.
Hopefully the frickin' fires and smoke doesn't ruin all the fun again.

I'll post here if I find a Runner, and possibly start a new build thread if stuff starts coming together.

Cool good deal. Looking forward to the 4runner build

Just keep stock piling parts so when you do get the rig you can start building asap

Yeah for sure.
I was just laughing to myself reading your signature. Your rig has basically everything I listed off up there.

-Haha, it wasn't much of a looker. You didn't miss out on much. Just a lot of my sweat and blood.
-I'm for sure saying No to the 3.Slow. I am always gonna stick with the 22RE. My favorite motor.
-That's so sick about the 3.4

Fell asleep at the wheel. Plus my mom said No, on account of me leaving for 2 years. She didn't want something rotting in the driveway while I was gone.
I'm fully planning on getting one when I come back. I'm still sticking to the same idea. I've also thought about getting a 3RZ Tacoma. I'll have about 5-6g to throw down on a vehicle so it will be sick.
