208 trasnfer case leak
« on: Mar 19, 2009, 12:06:52 PM »
Hello all, this is my first post here. I have a 86 K20 chevy truck with 208 transfer case. It is leaking pretty bad, looks like from the seam where it bolts together in the rear of the case. I was wondering what would be involved in resealing this. Can I just split the case and re-gasket it? Will a bunch of parts come flying out when I split it? Can it be done in the truck? thanks in advance for any advise.
