Hey guys,

Probably wondering what's been up, huh?

Since my last updates, I've finished the gas tank and wired the pump into the cab awaiting the interior crossover, made some 1" body lift spacers (Im still debating if I want to use them or not), replaced belts + filters + added some new engine oil, bought a bunch of exhaust gewdies from Summit such as mandrel and straight 2.25" piping, some heat wrap, and some hangers, so Im all ready to build my exhaust system, and I put in the water overfill resivor, mist system resivor, and I finished wiring the engine main fuse box into the '81 truck harness along with connecting the starter to the ignition circuit of the T100 interior wiring. So once I get the new interior it should just be matching up wires and crossing it all over..

The last things I was working on was building a battery tray and mounting the battery under the bed, and the engine fan. I dont know if I've mentioned it before or not, but I do plan on building a bracket for a York compressor (onboard air) and also installing a factory AC system. So I need to run a condenser along with the radiator. And after getting the new belts on and bolting everything up, I am NOT happy with the fan-to-radiator clearance. I thought I would be ok but I dont want to risk it. I've been doing a ton of research on e-fans and I've decided to run a small fan in front of the AC condenser and a 16" fan behind the radiator, both electric. Then I will carry an extra motor for the 16" fan in my tool box. That's it, all of my worries about my electric fans dyeing and leaving me stranded in the mountains are now solved. Those little motors are very small and hell, I could store it under my seat if I wanted to. And since I will buy a second 16" fan to disassemble for the motor, then I will have a complete set of spare fan blades at hand. I can throw those in a ban and store them anywhere also..

So its been decided, I will be using electric fans, and I've already got a couple used 14" Hayden and Imperial fans that I've been experimenting with mounting and fitting to the engine and radiator.. So that's basically in the bag.

So what's up now? Well today was my first day back at school :ack: so my work hours are cut and so is my income. This weekend I will out of town with Marlin so it will be a while before any real progress is made..

I would like to have the engine running by the end of Aug, but at the slow rate I've been going so far Im not sure....

Before I go, here are some recent pics for your viewing pleasure
