Geeze you guys get so technical!
I usually marinade some chickums in whatever garlic marinade I can find, about 2 days before the trip. Usually with chickums we'll have canned soup or chili (just throw the can on the fire and shake it once in awhile, eat straight from the can), and sometimes we'll even have some bread or chips to go with it.
Another favorite is breakfast, breakfast is always huge when we're campin, even though in the mornings nobody's hungry from drinkin too much. Sausage and bacon are first to cook, then when they're done, some potatoes (packaged diced ones with peppers already in em), after the potatoes are done we'll put em on paper plates and then do the eggs in whatever leftover grease is still in the pan (we only bring one pan). All this is thrown into a flour tortilla with some taco-bell sauce packet contents
