Thanks. It's slowly coming along. I wanted to tube the front but I think i'm going to wait until I decide on whitch engine i'm going to use, plus i'm dying to get back on the trail. :disturbed:

ya know I tried bending with my crappy bender like the one you used and filled the tube with sand and everything......IT STILL KINKED THEM.  AGHH well I barrowed a Pro Tools bender from a friend and ordered up some new tubing so we'll see how that works.   I really like how your runner is turning out.  I personally would have a hard time chopping it like you did but I think you did a good job of making the lines flow well.  Keep up the good work but stop working and go wheeling one of these days.

Sorry to here that, I guess I just got lucky, but once this cage is done I will never use this bender to build onother one. I would much rather use a Pro Tools or something similar.
Hopefully I will have this thing done or really close by the end of the month. I've been working long hours at work plus most weekends so time is pretty limited, but trust me I plan to beat the piss out of it when I finally get the chance. :gap:

Well, the pile is almost done. I had a very productive day today. The cage is done and painted, the front sheet metal is painted, I got my rear shocks and fuel tank mounted and floor is painted and the seats are installed. All that is left is the front drive shaft, add 1 more leaf to the front springs add wheel spacers to the rear and blead the brakes. I should have the rest done tomarrow :driving: I didn't bring my camera to the machine shop today but I will tomarrow so I can post finished pics :crossed:, finished for now at least. Next on the list is 1 link rear, 302 c6 swap with either a 203-205 doubler or an atlas as well as finish tubing the front, but that will be later down the road. It's time to enjoy this thing for a while. :gap:

What sucks is I could have had mine done long ago but I have been working 6 10's at work which don't leave much time to work on it. Our overtime gets cut down though in a couple more weeks so I will finally have weekends off to wheel.

I am a welder for a company that builds fuel tanks for International Diesel. The pay is pretty good, anything after 40 is overtime time then saturdays are doubl time  I don't mind the work. Welding is something that I have always enjoyed doing, it's even better when you get paid good for it.More parts for my toys :gap:

I am going to try to get some flex pics up tomarrow. I drove it today without the front dshaft to test my brakes. They still seem to have a fair amount of air in the front calipers, the rear will lock after pumping them but nothing in the front still :dunno: Maybe I will be able to work that out tomarrow. I just hope the front calipers arent froze up :crossed:. That is going to be a pain in the ass to fix. :flamer:
