Not much to report. I took the light bar off for giggles. It is really loud on the freeway. Might play around with some A pillar pods. My kiddo and i went camping and had a great time. I dont get out as much as I want due to Covid and ongoing home projects. Jeep has been solid though so far.
Looks beautiful...
Glad to see you and your kid out enjoying the beautiful outdoors.Being the jeep knower you are, can you answer this question? I replaced all of the front control arm bushings in my friends 2012 Saturday. Why on earth did they put the bolt from the inside to outside on the upper passenger mount? That son of a gun required the exhaust to be dropped to get it out. Ofcourse I didnt. I bent the bracket enough to get the bolt out. Then straightened it back in place and pur the bolt in from the outside.
It is so nice here in the summer. here are some more of the camp we had. It was just my kiddo and I
That is a gorgeous spot! any chance you could tell where you went? I don't have a rig built yet but thinking of getting into a cheaper minivan for me and the girls to do the same kind of camping. I was looking for a cheap fj80 or sequoia. heck maybe even xJ if cheap enough.
That is an engineer for ya. I cut the bolt and installed it the other way around lol
Speaking of engineers, I would speculate that it’s related to the lack of foresight that a lot of auto manufacturers have when designing cars. They don’t always consider future repairs and it’s possible that on the assembly line that bolt is installed before the exhaust so there’s not an interference issue. This is one thing that Toyota is historically superior at.
Oh yeah it is definitely installed before the exhaust.
when are you doing to get a real vehicle?
I have been thinking about getting an e-bike too. Not a commuter though. maybe something that could keep up with Zippo's KTM?
have you seen those 2wd ones? those would be cool for the rougher terrain.
I have seen the 2wd dirtbikes they are pretty legit
one of my coworkers demoed one of these:https://www.ubcobikes.com/us/he said it was a pretty sweet ride.
