OME replacement springs

hey fellas, have a question i have ordered OME HD leafs for the rear of my 88 4runner. the guy on the phone said i dont need to replace the Ubolts unless i lift it or add blocks and im not, its going to remain stock. but the leaf pack is thicker, from 2.0 to 2.25. so i dont know need real input thanks again.

stock u-bolts will suffice but i would recommened u-bolt flip kit while you are there.

I have these springs on the rear of my 87' runner. I did have the stock u-bolts on them until my flip kit came in the mail. It worked fine.

If you take a look at your ubolts you can judge if there is enough excess length to accomodate the added spring pack size, the only issue would be if you can only grab a few threads and then I'd pick up a new set. You don't want to have the bolts come loose and fall off. Oh and they will loosen up some after you do put the new springs on so make sure to keep checking them for a while after swapping them in. I generally will start  to PB Blast the ubolts, mount bolts and nuts a few weeks ahead of taking them off to make it real easy to get them off undamaged. You could end up needing new spring mount bolts if they have seized to the old springs and have to cut them off.
