Top Notch Sausage gift box, who's got the skinny?
« on: Nov 23, 2012, 12:16:49 PM »
Buying my father in law a sausage gift box. He's had the hickory farm, swiss colony stuff... but i'm looking for something that will really WOW him.

Any suggestions?  I'm searching but coming up short.

Taylor's Sausage is my favorite.  You can look them up online and they have a good assortment of gift packages.

I have a couple places here where I live.

www.tcsjerky.com
www.wernerjerky.com
www.debbiedssausage.com

All three of these companies ship.  Werner has better jerky, and chunks.  Tillamook Country Smoker has some of the best summer sausage, and the pepperoni and beef nuggets are good.  Debbie D, has more authentic jerky and sausages, not mass produced.  She is a small outfit, whereas the other two are bigger companies that ship global and world wide.  Then you can order cheese from www.tillamook.com   And if you think the 3 year old white cheddar is the bomb, try the smoked aged white cheddar!!

Thank you guys for the input, YES I will try the smoked aged cheddar. The flavor is SO prominent...mmmmmm...

I actually had thought about creating a gift bag that way I could add tillamook cheese to it. I looked in their shop, was wondering if they had ever paired with another company to create gift baskets but it doesn't look like it. Besides I want specific cheeses  :drooling:

I wonder how long it takes for that stuff to ship out, maybe I could get a little of everything and see which is best.
