just picked up an ifs rear end and getting a set of 35 inch toyos this week. Looking for a 2 4.56 diffs

I may go full width sometime but I might as well run what I got.

I have 4 inch springs in the front and I want to drop it down 2 inches or so. Im thinking about taking 2 leafs out, is that to much? They havent been broken in yet but man is it tall even on 35s

The mounts dont line up. U have to zip tie it and its a hair wider. Squeeze it between the corner lights and zip tie it.

Went wheelin last weekend. It drove fine and wheeled great. I drove it home just fine. When I went out to move it, the tranny was making a hideous grinding noise but still was able to pull it into the garage. Well tonight I went to roll it back away from the wall. No sense in starting it to move it back a foot so I pushed it. I couldnt push it in neutral. The tcase was in 4low. I had to put the tcase in neutral in order to roll it. The tranny was giving me trouble popping out of 1st and 3rd. I think the tranny is shot. Any thoughts? If it is the tranny. Im thinking of finding a turbo tranny. Might as well. I guess

Do tons. Also don't do full hydro. I did that on my runner with a 3 link. Worst idea ever.

This is my 2nd, 1st gen 4runner, and 4th build. the other 3 were different builds so I plan on using the knowlege and incorperating all 3 into this one.

for all you haters.... (you know who you are) I actually do plan on keeping this one.

What rear axle is under that 3rd gen in the last pic? T-100?

the guy who owned it before me is the one who put the kit on. Instead of making room for the shock hoops he leaned them out towards the tire. He didnt finish his welds and the look like crap. Right now I am focused on reworking the front end and then working my self to the rear. Im trying to do things I havent personally done to any of my rigs.

This thing was just so halfassed. The stock brackets on the axle were cut off but never ground away, the frame wasnt cleaned before welding, the rear springs were put in backwards, the 14" shocks flat dont fit, the rear fenders were trimmed due to rust but never finished. on and on lol

On a side note, I am getting a set 4.88 diffs. One open and one with a lockright. I plan on the lockright up front and leaving the rear open. Im not sure tho. I kinda wanna weld it but dont think I should.

With the gears and everything my final will be 4.3x4.88x2.28x2.28=109:1 I have never been over 43:1. Ya Im a little stoked.
