I agree not sure why people think everything they got should make them 1 million dollars if they sell it.
Found an old listing on ebay for that Texas Trekker:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyota-Trekker-1981-Toyota-Trekker-/330723629643?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item4d00aa1a4b
it needs a ton of work...a friend of mine talked to him, the seller won't take less than $4K..he is high..

Thanks Guys..

not much of an update, lots of crap to do on my wife's "if you wanna go wheeling do this first list"
played with a new toy:

picked up a new 12v compressor recently to replace an unknown ebay POS i used for a few years.
i had heard good reviews on the MV50 SuperFlow Hi-Volume Air Compressor,
prices are all over the place $65+, new including shipping.
refurbs can be bought for about $50 including shipping.

specs, also comes with a nice bag:

i took a valve stem out of one of my tires, toyo open country MT's 35x13.50x15, so it was effectively down to 0, sidewalls held it up

timed it back to 30PSI @ just under 4 minutes...pretty impressive IMO

seems like a lot of members have used these over the years with success.
I will probably add a hard wire plug in mount front and rear down the road so it will be a little easier to use than the battery clips

This is from a couple of days ago- with the exception of paint I finished the passenger side half door.
Instead of building a subframe like I did with the d/s door I used a small sheet metal bender

It seems to be just as strong as the version with the subframe and was able to complete the door in about a third of the time.

yesterday I finally had a few hours to get ready for a trail run coming up in a few weeks.
it was supposed to be sunny all day...
had to deal with this crap off and on all day

hard to get motivated with your legs soaking wet:

I am blessed that my wife understands the needs for spares.  One of them is my 4.7 case that I need to inspect the bearings on..ended up using the stock 2.28 case that I have been using with the stock length driveline:

copious amounts of RTV:

I know that a lot of people don't have the best opinion of Harbor Freight tools, but this electric impact wrench has done the trick the last 3-4 years..works awesome

I guess there are two different styles of multimount flanges you can use, T-G flange on the case, stock one on the left..i think the wider one is supposed to go on a third:

Marlin Multimount flange fits like a glove:

cases back in:

finally got to use my blingy CV shaft built by http://drivelinetech.com/home.php

just need to add fluids, load up and take it out to my parents for a mini shake down run..

Got my POS back out on the trail today. Went out to Brown's camp for a winching class set up by Warn and gitout.com
Met a lot of great people

The dust put a nice even coat of brown on my wheels..kind of thinking of painting them to match the truck
