what kind of shocks are you running?  you sure your shocks aren't blown out or something?

Billstein 5150 14'' rear
Billstein 5150 12'' front

they seam to be very difficult to compress so Im assuming they are good, talked to No - Idea this morning and we decided to remove the overload spring and replace it with more springs thinking that what I have is to soft, I have a set of Chevy 52''ers that im gonna rip into and find the 2 or 3 that i can use in my rear pack and try not to get any lift :crossed:

what did you have in mind :headscratch: that was discussed in another thread but the cost would be the problem,  I can + or - leafs all day it just takes time

source a sway bar from a junk yard that will fit your rear end, attach it to your frame and then make links to your axle on the back side with some removable pins. then to disconnect the links will fold upwards into some brackets and you use the pins you pulled out of the axle side to secure the sway bar up on your frame. your runner would have awesome road manners then still flex like a beast on the trail. :beerchug:

lol ok.

Does it wobble while you are driving straight?
Is it the scary pitch that happens on turns?

the pitch on the turns are what they are ... not that big of a deal after all its a crawler, as long as Im not drifting I think it will be fine

the problem is that there is SO much body roll, its better now than before i added the 2 extra springs, but still scetchy, feels loose at about 45-50 i can do 55 and it goes straight and no floating back and forth feeling, but at slower speeds 10-20 if I jerk the wheel it feels like there are 3 big dudes on each side rocking it back and forth to the point I have to slow down and its real scetchy at times.

Try pivot block locks. See BigMike's thread. That will take those out of the equation for street driving. The problem is that 4runners are so damn top heavy.

yea I know LOL, No Idea and I were talking about this and he thinks I should remove the overload springs and replace the loss of them with some more leafs to stiffen it up a bit, what do ya think

This may still help but it won't eliminate the movement of the pivot blocks.

so you both think I should reduce the moement of the blocks first  that will be allot easier than removing the springs over and over LOL, now I gotta find Mikes thread

If it's the easiest place to start, I don't see why not. At least then you've eliminated that factor, right?

MiniSimp

Yep.
Just shove some square tube in there, maybe make a square tube horseshoe with a pin or something?
Try it.

I know this was a while ago but I was browsing and saw this, a good friend of mine ran his like this on a Samurai. One day he did a slow roll on a hilltop the jack lifted his rearend and pitched his truck down which turned a slow roll into a full on barrel roll down the hill. If it would have landed solidly on his lid it would have stopped, but the jack tipped him over the edge.
