Bent Fab Tube Chassis Buggy on Tons

I bought this unfinished project in Jan. this year, and as some of you that also surf Pirate had been watching this build for sometime.

I have seen alot of rigs that I liked but this one is my favorite, and it reminds me of my Yota I had in Highschool.  here are some pics of my rig and a buddies YJ, this is the day I brought it home for Kentucky.


Ok, just to be clear, it looks close to being done, but the truth is there is alot of work to be done.  Nothing was finished, including welding, fab work on the interior and I'm still finding clearance issues that for some reason wasn't remedied by the builder.  I was told by the owner that he was very unhappy with the build and the progress, so he lost interests.  I understand I personally had a TJ build that took 3+ yrs and I was unhappy also. (with the wait, not the finished product)     My TJ build thread:

So, what it needs: completely wired, plumbed (brakes & hydro, fuel), front locked, geared 5.13s, painted, finish welded, driveshafts, shorts side 60 axle shaft and 35 spline outers, Drive flanges, T-case needs pulled and setup for twin-stick, front bumper and grille?, fab up skid plates, bolt flywheel to torque converter, build engine doghouse, it has no gas pedal and really no room for one so fab up that( the reason for redesigning doghouse), somehow the engine oil-pan was crushed to hell so replace that, the Coil-over coils aren't the correct rates. I know there's more but little stuff.  

I'm fired up to finish it, I wasn't prepared to have so much work to do but, oh well.  I would rather have something with my flavor in it..  

Purchased, front 1410 yoke,  TEN factory 35 spline outers, short side shaft, Summit Machine flanges, front Detroit locker (rear is a Detroit), RADesigns triple stick, dual circuit cooler for tranny and hydro, hoses, belt, Painless wiring 12- circuit, Raceline Nylon Brake line, 08 FJ grille, Hella Black Magic lights, steering Quick disconnect, steering wheel, some other goodies from my TJ build (mmmm left-overs).

I'm going to install another tube in the center and plate it, maybe even a few speed holes.

the plan is to route the exhaust on each side and out behind the cad corner.


the front, I like it all. it will get some paint but its good as is.

there is no room for a gas pedal, so I don't like it....

I would like to do some dimple dies but I have no Ideas what will look good.

My goal is to find someone with 39-42in Stickies for trade and some cash on my part.  My tires are brand new, just been rolled around the shop.   Any help?

Yes it is, it was the brainchild of Tim at Bent fab and Sky..  here's some pics

Thanks for watchin, Ryan @ Sinister Fab is going to fab a new tighter doghouse. Tim from Bent fab built one and from what Allen had told me, there were large gaps and not up to his standards. I personally liked it more than the large boxed doghouse Allen built, but to each his own. The pedal will be large enough to feel with boots on but small enough not to be in the way.. lol  I wish I had a straight answer.  Everything else is going slow.  I'm all for doing it once. lol  if that's really done..

I wasn't until now, Thank you..  lol   if it doesn't hold up then Full Hydro time..  My Juggy ran 70+ down the highway one figured..
