If any stinger I prefer the flat top hood line stinger.

what did you guys do with the steering? did you use the stock 2wd or swap it for a 4wd steering box?

zebracrawler

looks like I'm putting a hood scoop. didn't want to sacrifice having to lower my bump stops and lifting my truck higher. didn't want to do a body lift ether so stuck with a tall intake

zippo

I looked hard at this swap. They do need a hood scoop. 89 and up can do it with only trimming the inner brace. I think the right black hood scoop wil look good with the strips
If you see it, its for sale.

zebracrawler

there is a hood scoop you can buy for the newer tacomas it looks like it would look good

They do need a hood scoop.

No they do not :nonono:
All it takes is custom frame side motor mount brackets.

Did mine with no scoop, and no body lift, but it will bite me in the butt for use able uptravel in my not so distant future front 3 link.  :brick:

In your pic with all the parts on the ground I see a cold air intake, you will likely want to find a stock air box for when you try and go get the swap inspected.
