Then don't DD it. Ins it as a rec vehicle on the cheap! Even full coverage is cheap on rec vehicles...  :yesnod:

Well. I jinxed myself. It all started today with a quick U-bolt change in the front. As I started to torque them my U-blot flip plate(on top of the leaves) bent more that normal. So I decided to make a new one out of 3/8 plate so it was low-profile and cleared my hydro-assist. As I turned the wheel back and forth to make sure it cleared, I noticed my steering box moving a lot, and then I realized my frame broken 3/4 around. So here she is.

I got all the cracks and more rewelded, just need to plate it all and box it in. I had to take out the steering box and radiator to do it. What a pain and to top it off I only have one day to finish it be for we leave.

Seriously. I try to take a real good look at the rig before runs. Take out as many elements of surprise. I got it all welded up and got all the templates made for the plates. just need to cut them out and weld them over the original stuff.

some progress
