been watching the new's all morning... Hawaii got a few 7-8' waves.. i'd imagine once it hit's the coat it'll be minimal... there's people jamming traffic is S.F. to "see" the waves...     retards.

Man this is really crazy.

My wife has been talking to her family in Japan (they live over 750 miles south-west on a different island so they are safe) and many friends of hers who work in Tokyo.... It's a huge mess! They had over 50 aftershocks all over 6.0, and this is the 5th largest quake on record since 1900.

KDRV, ABC Oregon affiliate, has confirmed that 4 people in Crescent City have been swept out to sea. One of the victims is a fatality.

Geologists have been waiting for this earthquake to happen for a long time. The San Andres fault, particularly the Hayward area, is due for a massive earthquake as well. I'm gonna guess we'll see a massive EQ here in California very soon.

Looks like 4 people were swept out in Crescent City a bit ago. Amazing how something so far away can affect us here

 i found out about it when i woke. sometimes the message doesn't get bumped.   8.1 foot came into Crescent City.  issued of peak of Tsunami by Noon-(this is from a USFS buddy that works in Crescent City)
