questionable runner -> on the road and never done

so i picked up a 90 runner for $300. it is bone stock. the body is kinda rough. it has alot of rust. I found a donner runner that has a bad engine. it has all the pieces it need to get rid of the rust. it has the 22re. It caught on fire but wicked90runner is an electrical guru. should be up and running next week.

THE PLANS:
- fix the engine (get it running good) DONE
- clean up the interior DONE- KINDA
- fix the body (get of the rust) WORKIN ON IT HOPEFULY SOON
- SAS (most likely the low range offroad kit)DONE
- e-locker in the rear SPOOL BUT DONE
- 33s 37s ARE KINDA LIKE 33s
- nice stereo system DONE

this is going to be nothing big. mainly a dd. I still have my 85 for the trail. WOW!!!!! HOW PLANS CHANGE, GOOD THING I NAMED IT THE "QUESTIONABLE RUNNER"

IT'S ALIVE. My buddies Luke and Jeremy spent hours over here tonight. I dont know wiring so have a guy who has done it before and an electrician kiss royal @$$. tomarrow. I will change the oil, put the cooling system back together, put the dyna max exhaust with the pacesetter header back on and time it. if time permits- inspection and tag it.

I like it. I love 2nd gen runners and the gray reminds me of my old one.

i think i am going with the flat black with the green strpies. good thing i got it going my 85 just died and they are all i got right now.

I got a couple of pic's of the wiring harness after we cut and fixed it with another harness. The harness was melted pretty bad and almost all the connectors by the intake are now new.

So I have not really been doing much to the runner right now because I am trying to get the 85 ready for winter on the rocks. BUT I did take it out yesterday in the snow. The spector tires 31"tall kicked A$$ in the snow. It went everywhere I could have asked it to. still under powered but when i get the 85 done and my 954 ready for vegas in march i will be doing a 5M swap and that should take care of the power

so i had to put it up fof sale because i drive about 100 mile each day and 15mpg is not enough. so to help sell it i decided to paint it up and clean it up a bit

WELL the questionable runner is gone. But the good news is i got 2300 more than i had into it and i got to keep the rims and tires

So they say if you let something go and it is meant to be it will come back to you, well guess what.... questionable runner came home. so we have decided to have some fun. I am not out ANY money on this thing so we will be putting chevy full widths under it. simple cage ripping the interior out. motor swap (unsure what swap yet) and just make it a play toy. do some things that we have wanted to try but due to the face that we both have street and trail rigs we did not want to try till now.

nope wheel  base is to short. it would be squirly as hell being that short

so i have had a snag on the full width install. come to find out the sas kit puts your springs at 29 center to center. but i guess with the full width i need to be at 31.5" center to center. so now i am looking into sky's kit or rebuilding my own. but for now I got bored and decided that if i am going to be illegal i will go all out

well tonight i hope to mount the rack and maybe start on the top removel. i got the entire interior removed and found no rust. that was surprising after looking at the out side. now i need to clean it up and get it lined.

                                       - 7m swap loving the 3.slow with the manual, if I do swap it will be a 4.3
                                       - cut off the top tops going to stay where it is
                                       - safari rack Still trying to figure out what I want
                                       - lots of lights (known quanity) Some lights but will be LED and HIDs
                                       - interior removed and lined Not started
                                       - nice stereo Hey I got this done
                                       - full cagenot started
                                       - tube doors. going with half doors instead
