Without a doubt MC has some nice looking bumpers. My question is, if your going to list the stuff for sale on the website why are they not making bumpers. I called ready to buy and was told like 2 months till any will be available. What a let down !!!

2 Month is a while but you have to understand that with the way the economy is right now not many shops have the time, support or cash to have parts sitting on the selves, as nice as it would be its just not to realistic at this point in time.

Im a local and i would never now by a MC bumper those metal and welds really suck. My buddy almost lost a trailer TODAY. We looked at it and the welds from around and under were breaking off. He had about 2 inch of welds left. He realize all this when he finally made it home and heard squeaking noise from his tow thing from the MC bumper. I kid u not this was just 20 mins ago.. I dont know about u guys but i've decided.....

I hope you understand that this bumper can tow, yet it does not have a tow rating.. meaning anything large and of value is towed at your own risk! So whatever was being towed, if it was breaking welds must have been stinking heavy because the welds on my MC bumper are awesome. But maybe you are a better welded?!?!?

Did you mean to quote me?.. First off I didn't weld Marlins bumpers, fortunately they come welded haha!... and second, you need to read.. this is taken right from the product description on the bumpers from Marlins store...

"These bumpers are extremely sturdy and could in theory tow a variety of trailers well, however they are NOT rated and we do NOT have any recommended weight or tongue loading information. Remember this is a Rock Crawler bumper, and a darn fine one too!"

Everything has a failing point. Build it yourself and you only have yourself to blame when it does fail
Dr.Maxwe001 – well i have a 15 gal compressor now and if I gett he 60  and then use the 15 as a reserve that wil give me 75 gal  thats close to 80 isnt it ?

so you were stating false information? Yes If you back into a big solid bolder at 10 mph in reverse and hit in an unbraced area, you are going to bend the :pokinit: out of it. Second, if you are towing an ass load load of weight with a ROCK CRAWLING bumper that is NOT rated for a specified towing amount then it will OBVIOUSLY have its breaking point. I'd like to know HOW MUCH your buddy was towing, the actual TONGUE WEIGHT and see PICTURES of the carnage.  I think its pathetic to see people ragging on stuff when they abuse the :pokinit: out of it.... Of course its going to fail at some point!

I'm sorry where is the tow rating stamped on a MCI bumper? Don't think there is one so what do you think that means? It is not a tow rated bumper so you will use it for towing at your own risk. In fact they pretty much state that fact. People need to quit whinning and understand what it is they are buying and what they are doing with it. As to bending one again what are we doing with them and to them? They as are all the armour we put on our trucks is to protect the body and if the bumper gets bent doing that then it has done its job. When we used to race offroad do you think we had a problem that the roof colapsed a little if it rolled hard? No, it did its job when the driver walks away. Sure back at the shop it gets looked at and improvements are made for future incidents but as long as the truck didn't wad up and hurt the driver then even a total loss frame did what it was supposed to protect!

Oh I know, I was just making a blanket statement on this issue since some keep trying to bring it up all the time after it has been beat like a dead horse and it is since they are redeveloping them as we speak.
