got the header installed night before last with the new o2 sensor. no more lean code and it runs way better! taking it into the exhaust shop tomorrow to get 2 1/4'' from the secondary pipe to the flowmaster 40 series then to a 2 1/2'' tip behind the tire.

got my exhaust all done! Pacesetter to 2'' secondary with brand new factory Toyota o2 sensor to LCE 6''x2 1/4'' stainless flexpipe to 2 1/4'' into flowmaster 40 series into 2 1/4'' and 2 1/2'' chrome tip.... Needless to say this freed up A LOT more power going back in to degree my cam 2 degrees further advanced and play with ignition timing. few cell pics

Well its been awhile, still have the truck but i have beat on it pretty damn good since I bought my Audi for a DD... The small lift and 34'' swampers are eating my idler arms and relay rods like its going out of style. going to get rid of the stock and build a beefy idler arm, truss the relay rod and ditch the tie rod ends for heim joints and double shear at the spindle. Figured I will leave this truck IFS since I still have my 85 runner for my crawler! Updates coming soon!

I got sick of breaking steering so I built my own setup here are a few pics!

Ended up having to modify the idler arm some more, kept loosening up on my but i took it to the dunes and out on some good hill climbs and rocks with no issues!!! works great and seemed to free up some more flex after the ball joint spacers!

Still need to spice up the rear suspension as it is completely stock, I have marlins 6'' shackles to install and move my shackle hangers then u bolt flip, and relocate shocks... Im debating on bobbing the bed around 6-8'' then building some legit bumpers and maybe a bed cage.

Total cost of parts was right around $200 then some spare time on the weekends and after work! Had around 20 hours into it all said and done. We will see how the idler arm bushings hold up, I might end up redesigning it with roller bearings. Its just marlins 18mm spring bolt and bushings then all the heims are 3/4" chromoly grade 8 5/8" bolts and the tie rods are 1 1/2" x1/4" DOM .... should hold up to some abuse

Thanks man, the next setup would go alot smoother now that I figured out what all needs to be fitted just right, I had to shorten the idler and pitman arms because the large tierods would bind up under full turn/stuff....

I almost straight axled it but i didnt feel like tackling another SAS at the moment. Im glad i decided to stick with the IFS 

If you check out Total Choas their badass steering setup runs around $1500.... I could have bought three of my trucks for that!!

Took the yota out the other day, i love these skinny tires they just get with it! Buddy brought his little s10 blazer, first time wheeling since i welded the diff up! Thing did way better than before! Few pics

Yes sir! Some spare parts I had lying around! I have beat on it throughout 4 or 5 wheeling trips, hill climbs, few rocks and mobbin through the dunes with no issues what so ever! Very happy with the way it turned out!

Little update, ditched the rear stock shackles and bushings for 6'' marlins and whipped up some custom shock mounts yesterday. Raised the shocks 5 1/2'' and gained some good flex. Its right around 25-26'' before it lifts another tire which is pretty good for stock springs, torsion bars and A arms! thinking about bobbing the bed 8-10'' or so but I havent decided yet..... i'll post pics up later

Well had a nice little wheeling adventure at the dunes the other night..... Thought I popped another IFS ring and pinion, got to looking and ended up shearing some teeth off of my 4wd gears in my tcase...... so time to swap out my tcase, might do it tonight if I feel ambitious enough... I'll post pics of the carnage....

I've failed at my attempts to break any of my steering components.... Now that poor little 7.5'' diff had to take all the abuse!
