just started a 91 4runner project and the first thing i did was buy a solid front axle and completely tore it down! I heard that the sas was the best thing to do to an ifs rig so here i go any hang ups i am going to run into that you guys know about would be appreciated!

what shape is it in other than no front axle in it yet

only hang up's is the hang downs from the existing IFS crap ha ha save your rotors and calipers you can use them on the straight axle for extended width and better braking i've heard! keep us posted, throw some pics up! should be alot of info on this subject thousands have done it! Post up people ha ha

:thumbs:well its in great shape, a valve spring failed on the #3 and was making a nasty sound. my neighbor was going to toss it and he offered it to me for free, the body is in excellent shape other than a small crease in the front bumper very minor, and the interior was about a seven, which included missing knobs, and the drivers seat having the classic small tear as your buns slide into it, heck even the paint is in good shape, fixed the valve problem. three weeks ago and been driving it ever since

ya click on reply at bottom right of last post. then hit additional options on bottom left in red. then hit choose file. then select a photo from computer location. (has to be smaller than 140kb) then hit post.
