I've had this bumper for almost a year now & had the turn signals zip tied to it. Fordh8r said it was time to make it permanent. We came up with some brackets & I took out the magic wand & got it done.

To prep for a bumper I just did the blinker mod. Now my side markers are also my turn signals.

There, now doesn't that look better than the zip ties?  :gap:  I think it does.  :rofl2:  Although, those purple zip ties were kinda vintage looking.  :hahaha:

I ran new wires to my passenger power window but since I take the doors off & I have to be able to remove the wires. I don't care if the power door lock works on that side since I can reach it from the driver seat so I used a speaker connector & mounted it to the panel.

Since my half doors won't get done for a while (I'm in no hurry), a friend bent up some mirror brackets for me. Now the mirrors stick out as far as stock mirrors.

I picked up a bedside mount tool box from MiniSimp to store stuff on my trailer. When we put it in the back of the 4Runner & it fit perfect between the roll bar & tailgate. There's just enough room to open the tailgate or open just the box. Looks like I'll be mounting it in the 4Runner.

My heater hasn't worked in 2 years cause the core was plugged, so I replaced it just before MCR8. When I got my 4Runner the interior was blue but I had a complete gray interior that I wanted to install. I had already replaced everything except the dash. So when I replaced the heater core I installed the gray dash. I had a inclometer that I wanted to install but wasn't sure where to drill so it would be in the stock location. As I was looking at the dash trying to decide where to mount it I flipped the dash over & noticed that there were holes already there, just covered with the foam & top hard coating. I took a drill bit & ran it through the 4 mounting holes & the hole for the wires. I still have a few blue parts but I'm just gonna paint them if I can find them.

Well I finally started my half doors, fordh8r used the plasma and got the basic shape. The pic doesn't show it but I have the doors framed. Just need to make the top and inside door panel a with storage pocket and paint.

Went to play at Carnegie today and I'm pretty sure busted the left birf  :smack: If I turn the steering wheel it binds up. If I rotate the tire (with the hub locked) just a little the steering will free up and I can continue to turn the wheel. With funds the way they are right now I don't think I'm gonna have it done in time for MCR this year.
