I think it looks good, but it'll look better in the truck and be of more use in about 5 months.  :gap:

you can replace the rotor or caliper pads and still be cheaper then a new kit.

Thats what I was thinking too but the pads are plenty thick & the rotor is fine. I didn't get any mounting hardware when I bought so I ordered it from All Pro, just waiting for it to show up.

I had a mishap yesterday while working on the Runner. While I was moving the front axle it fell of the jack & caught my finger between the jack stand & the axle. Now I have a Qtip as a middle finger  :smack:

Well, I have had a few weeks to just stair at my Runner & think about what I'm going to do. I have decided to not move the steering box forward. I'm going to redrill to front hanger spring mounting bolt holes 1" back. That will give me a better shackle angle & my drag link should clear the tie rod  :crossed:

I got to looking at the spec's of the 12,000# Warn winch on the front. The weight of that 12,000# was 103lbs plus about 30lbs (I'm guessing) of weight from the cable. I traded that tank of a winch that I had on the front for a Warn M8000 with a synthetic line  The M8000 only weights 73lbs & the synthetic line weights maybe 10lbs (I'm guessing). Thats a weight savings of about 50lbs. After I get the suspension back together It will be time for a front bumper  :yesnod:

I scored a rear All Pro rear bumper from Toydanota  That will be going on soon  :yesnod: Gave my old rear bumper to fordh8r.

I got another project to start after the Runner is up & running  :disturbed:
:shhh: My wife doesn't know yet but I have been collecting parts  :eyebrow:

I finally got to get out & work on the Runner today  :woohoo: I measured, made a template & drilled the holes in the front hanger. I used the 2 top leafs from the rears & the 3 bottom leafs from my Alcans & installed with the banana shackles.

#81
It sits close to level. I used a forklift to poser flex it & take the measurements for the bump stops & shock hoop mounting.

After compressing the suspension on the driver side the spring moved back & I have plenty of clearance between the draglink & tierod.

That's it for now. I still have to cut the passenger side shock tower off, plate both the left & right frame & install the shock hoops.

looks good, but you could get more out of the rear it looks like. What springs are back there?

Usually the rear springs go flat but the pitman arm was hitting the top of the spring so I stopped. I have to install the front bump stops. The rear springs are 63's
