A 4Runner non elocker one will.  The Tacoma one and the e-locker one will not.

Great job on the 1UZ swap. Nice photos to go along.  I have a 1UZ in the garage waiting for huevos, time, and $$$.
Do you happen to have a link to the urethane motor mounts you used.  One of the areas ive been thinking about and the stock SC seems like the logical mount system to use.
Cant wait to see it in action

They are made for an Rx7 by a company called Banzai Racing.  I had to drill the hole out bigger though.

I also wanted to do something to help get air flowing under the hood.  Most of the aftermarket hood scoops are kind of cheesy looking.  I had a banged up hood form a 2000 4Runner Sport that i parted out and the middle section was still in pretty good shape so I decided to graft it on to my 89 hood.

Then a 1970 Chevelle SS396 that I've had for over 20 years.

Had a 67 and it was :boobs: ; too bad Dad sold it when I got my license... maybe it was a smart thing to do.

Projects are great... as long as money is fre and time stands still so you can actually get one done. Maybe.

You ever thought about 'charging that 1UZ? When I saw your video there were a few others on the side that had 'chargers... sounded pretty nasty too; gotta love blower whine!  :burnout:

I've read a bunch of threads that used Ford roots style superchargers and I gave it some though but in the end I would rather have the reliability of the factory ECU and factory ignition stuff that would have to be upgraded to utilize the extra power produced by the supercharger.  Its already gonna be 3 times the power that I'm used to.

No, St. Louis, MO.  if you know where a 30k mile 1uz doner car is and don't want it let me know.  I want to do another swap with an 88 4Runner I have next.
Just get a JDM motor....Only thing is that they usually cut the wires.....But not bad for a spare motor..runns about $600 before tax...Low mileage of course..And JDM motors have more horsepower too..

I made the panel for the floor and welded it in.

*I did my part for the greenies too.  :cheese:   I recycled the hood metal and used it on the floor.
