Ain't no thing, you'll learn to use both feet at the same time is all.

:headscratch:    I'd think you use both feet more with a stick shift.

With an auto you dont need dual cases and 4.7s. Because the torque converter does so much slipping for you. In order for that to happen you use your left foot on the brake while using your right foot to apply the gas. Its called power breaking and it work very very well. I'd dont know about you guys but when I've got both cases in low I almost never use the clutch. At 244:1 it's just no necessary. But with an auto and only dual cases the left foot comes into play alot.

Thats it, I "NEED" either a 1UZ or a 3UZ. The 150hp 3RZ is nice and all, but doubling that is just way to tempting.

Makes me tingle to hear you say that Brian ;)

Here is a shot of the Bellhousing kit from Australia- CRS (Castlemaine Rodshop).  1UZ to R151 bell, clutch slave, 30lb flywheel with ring gear for 1uz starter engagement(same as a 3vz fly but with ring gear), clutch/pressureplate/pilot bearing/clutch fork.  I have heard LC Eng. has made a 1uz flywheel and has the specs.
I happened to catch a new kit being sold here in the States by a guy that dropped his project- got lucky, they are expensive from CRS, i got a smokin' firesale deal.
Seamless boltup to the 1uz and r151

flywheel has the ring gear, as you can see in the photo on the otter edge of flywheel, that allows the starter engagement.

It is my setup.  Its a Marlin Dual Ult. with the new bellhousing attached.

You Sir, are correct.  CRS, LC eng. both have pressed on ring gears from the stock 1uz  a3040LE Auto flexplate onto the new manual flywheel.

No build yet, have alot of 1uz parts in the garage which is the second half of the project, first is to get my new www.4wheelunderground.com 3-link suspension dialed with the 22re in it, then the 1UZ goes in.   3link and 1UZ build thread will start this winter, as i am certain to need some advice once i start cutting and gluing things back on.

Steve is my motivation right now, project is getting sweet.  Cant wait to see it painted and then hualing ass.

Doesn't the 3rz flywheel have the same amount of teeth on the gear?

No.  the white was only a primer last time.   The factory color is silver and I'm going with a new Lexus silver that is a bit brigher than the original factory color.

I need more pics of the underside of this thing, please post.

I had a few posted already.  Is there something more specific you wanted to see?

I fabbed up my E-brake tonight.   I couldn't use the factory one because it wouldn't fit with the motor as close to the firewall as it was.  The length of my drivetrain wouldn't allow me to use the transfer case mounted ebrake either.   It's kind of a morph of the Lexus handle and cable from a 2000 4Runner.   Since I used the 2000 4Runner rear axle I grabbed the cable that went with it.  Normally I wouldn't even care about an E-brake with an automatic transmission but most organized and sponsored trail rides require one.

Did you cross reference wiring diagrams? It seems like a complicated engine to wire up. Really nice job your doing and all that warm fuzzy stuff  :gap: !!
I've got the most liftedest truck in town, that little jap truck done stand no chance gainst my Chevy. My Chevy gots a V8 more lift an bigger tires, and an exhaust system, whats yer tuna can got, a V4, and them tires look like they is offa Saturn Corulla. The dealer instulled my lift, so ya no its done right, you just try to foller me throo them rocks an see what a reel truck can do.

I actually paid a friend who knows wiring much better than I do but the Lexus engine will run with only a few necessary wires beyond its own harness.   There are videos on youtube of people starting them up while they're sitting on the ground.  Since its the older OBD1 standard and there are no security lockouts or any goofy ECU shutoffs like that they are easier than a 3.4 engine to wire up.
