No, St. Louis, MO.  if you know where a 30k mile 1uz doner car is and don't want it let me know.  I want to do another swap with an 88 4Runner I have next.

maybe it's just me, but you can't even hear it at the tip of the exhaust. Which to me, isn't a bad thing.

It has a nice low rumble at idle but its a Flowmaster so it gets kind of loud under hard acceleration.  It also has a small exhause leak at one of the flanges because I think I warped it when I welded it.  I need to re-surface the flange with a belt sander.

I'd rather not say exactly because the guy who did it may have other similar wiring jobs in the future but it was in the $500 range.  Its on par with what phoenix tuning charges for a 1uz swap harness only my local guy did a whole lot more than what phoenix tuning could have done because he had my truck.  It ended up being a little more work that what he intended but both he and I are extremely happy with the results.

That's sweet. I'm currious how your third members will hold up with that set up.

Your post has got me looking at sc400's. I think I'm going to get one for a dd... I think the conversion you did is awesome but I would rather put that in a 2wd or an old celica. My next engine conversion is going to be a 1.9 tdi.

Got an axle from a 1999 4Runner.   Its 3" wider than my 89 axle and is closer to the width of my FJ80 front axle.

The standard 79-85 solid front axle is 55".  The standard 86-95 IFS rear axle is 58".  The 96-03(maybe newer) is 61".  The FJ80 landcruiser is 63.5"

I want to do a big blocked Chevy truck using a set of unimog axles I got and the biggest boggers I can afford.  All I need is a rust free body for that.  I got the whole drivetrain already.  Then I got a 1979 Bandit edition Trans am I want to restore.   Then a 1970 Chevelle SS396 that I've had for over 20 years.  I' have severalmore if I had the room to store all of it.  :thud:

Yea, I'm in the same boat. I'm working on retubing the front of my rock crawler. I have a 92 toy that is a dd that needs paint and a new clutch and I have a 1 ton k5 blazer I'm building. Lot of work to do and not enough time or money.
