You can drill new holes in the front spring perches & u-bolt plates 1 inch back from the original to gain an inch of wheelbase.  Just make sure your drag link & tie rod won't interfere with each other while flexed out.

They make a plate ya just put under your u bolt plate on your leafs that can move your axle forward a inch or backward a inch. Depending on how ya want it. I think the plate also has a 1/2" spot to, ya just flip it! It works sick!! I cant member who has them but i can check into it if ya think ya might want to check it out?

Also with the body lift gone your rear shackle angle got better but still needs a little work but sounds like your on top of it.  Ride height looks way better now. I would move the rear shackle hanger cause if ya move the rear hanger it could change your ride height quite a bit. Depends where it is at now!!?? If its on the bottom of the frame and ya got room to move it do that n push your axle back a bit!

Ya check out that plate for me i was considering drilling out my axle pads to move them both some.... I need to move my sliders back an inch or so on the front because thats where my tire hits

i think it will help alot still taking that big leaf out in the rear should move shackle back some i think its just so lifted with the anch its causing the bad angle

gonna work on it half a day today and all day tomorrow

well i got rock lights done today just gotta wire loom and zip tie them in... but i ran into another big problem. i decided to see how see drives even though she vibes a bit... well i found what was vibing and another problem...

i have a 3.8 motor so when it was installed it was raised from stock height.. well my all pro ebrake disc is grinding into the cab when i moved it...

i also found my head collector was hitting the cab causing the vibes...it looks like the solution is to add about 1/2 - 1" of that BL i took out back on.... i think im gonna have to do it cause moving motor down, or im gonna have to lower my TC skid... which i really dont want to do...

any thoughts?

got alot more done today, spent most of the day wiring stuff up i got my switch panel in and my air compressor all hooked up and ready to go, also took care of the wiring from the rock lights with some loom and zip ties, pretty much cleaned it all up.

yesterday i found a pretty big problem.

my exhaust header collector is what is causing vibes and i tried to move it too just to she how she rides and herd a terrible sound, well my all pro ebrake is up in cab pretty much having sex with it hahahah....

so my solution is im just gonna add about 1/2 or 3/4 spacers to the body mounts.... i think that should make clearance for everything even though i dont want to to it.

i see no other way due to this truck being built around the body light with the motor and all that jazz.

well here are some of the pictures i took didnt get a super lot but like i said lot of time consuming wiring and cleaning up

Poop, looks like we were both pretty busy today. Didn't you have a radio? That sunroof looks decent; did you toss some water on it to check for leaks? Don't worry about it looking pretty; it's taller than everyone so nobody will see it... unless you roll again.  :gap:

You want to come down wheeling tomorrow? I got the itch... and it's supposed to be decent weather.

Call Suz or PM me.

Well you missed out fella, we got kind of lost on the way to Mt Herman... but found it anyways and went to Rampart Range then south on 315 (which is my new favorite trail) and back to Garden of the Gods via eastbound Rampart again.

Next weekend could work; when/where etc? I'll have a freshly sealed oil pan and reconnected exhaust.

There's plenty of snow but it's not wide-open like where we got stuck; just a lot of packed snow on the trail. I almost was taken out by a newer Suburban on my way up... some fukktards came around a blind corner around 30 in the middle of the trail.  :slap:  If I had a horn it would have been used... so I was forced to use my finger instead. It's equally effective to convey my feelings...

You can come by and I'll stitch the cage together; I'm almost out of welding gas but should have enough to get yours done. If not, I got some J-B Weld you can use...

sweet ya i might make it down sat.

i had to cut my tub out for my ebrake and i added about 3/4 " spacer to the body lift again...

dan i think i can make my current bumper work if i space it out about 1-2" and drill a few holes..... so im gonna work on that a bit too

Iv been running that same aircompressor for i think almost 3 years now to run my arb locker and air my tires up after a trail run. I plumbed it to a 2.5 gal tank under my bed. It still works, im amazed for how much iv used it. Just now disconnected it now that i have a a/c compressor set up.
