When the majority of your will is dedicated to your truck and who gets what parts when you are gone
All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.

When your friends or co-workers question you why you put so much effort into anti-theft devices (The CLUB, starter kill, transfer case lock, etc.) on a 25 year old truck so it won't get "Stolen."

When every gardener in town asks you if you want to sell your truck so they can take it to Mexico.

When you get hand written notes placed under your windshield wipers every month or so of people asking if you are interested in selling your truck. (All true stories.)

When you talk to people about your yota, you have to explain which one you're talking about because you have so many

So true....My wife still can't determine which truck I'm talking about - and I've had them all longer than she's been around.

Me too, but I have 2 white ones and a red one.  One of the white ones is a lifted 4wd project and the other is a 2wd lowrider and she still can't tell them apart.

When your carbed toy just dies out of nowhre, and your passenger looks at you funny, and you just say "Dont worry, its normal" and fire it back up

When all the girls you know want to trade their hondas, or make their bf trade his full size dodge for a toyota, cause they had so much fun in it with you

When the battery catches on fire, burns for a full minute, has holes in the top, out in bfe, and your truck has still been starting for the last 6 months

When you find yourself comparing EVERYTHING mechanical to toyotas quality and workmanship

When you base your first impressions on what people drive.  If they drive any Daimler Chrysler product you already know they're  :stopit:.  Honestly who wants to own anything who is KNOWN for producing CRAP that gives up at 70k miles???  I think it is funny that the new Heeps(with the mini-van motors) are having troubles with slipping trannies.  NOOOOO not a Dodge with a bad tranny?!?!

Fords from 90 and up had alot of transmission issues also. Mainly taurus/explorer/and f-150s but they all suck.
And you can't forget about dodges axle problems, or headgasket issues on almost all their vechicals around 95-97. axles are dakota/durango issues.

I have to disagree with the F-150s.  My dad has driven them since he bought one in the early 90s.  He had a 94 with over 180K miles on it and it was NEVER in the shop not even for little crap.  I'd happily drive an F150 before ANY Dodge.  But I've seen some XJs with 200k also...

yeah. I have seen xj's with alot of miles but then again its still a jeep motor the straight 6 not a pos dodge motor. I dunno I'm just going on what I've seen and I've seen my fair share of fords needing trans.

But all cars have their issues, take a look at our lovely toyotas, the 3.0 put them in the books for having issues to, had toyota never made a 3.0 or thought the design out a little more they would have never had gotten any bad wrap.

sweet page five is mine

I loved to look at my trucks shadow... lol
as far as jeep sucks, I had a 94grand cherokee with the 318 and that thing was actually a decent rig. sister is STILL driving it with 240k miles with original engine tranny tcase and axles... nothing major done to it... and myself, my parents and my sister (parents and sister more-so) know how to destroy vehicles (abuse on my end, abuse and lack of maintanance on there end)  and that jeep has been owned by all of us.

as far as getting pulled out becuase of a HUB... I would have PULLED THE COVER OFF AND FIXED THAT BEFORE GETTING PULLED OUT BY A JEEP
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.
