YOTA yota

Did some stuff today:

I gave it a quick bath

I finally got an antenna for my radio

New terminals and ground

I was tired of this haha

I saved this from my old bed

And did this

YOTA yota

Then I made some diff breathers. I just took the old vent down to the parts store and had the guy match the threads and give me this

Then hooked up to some fuel line, put a gas filter on top and I'm gonna run it in to my toolbox

And did the same thing on the front

With another fuel filter

And my sweet LSPV mod

Thin piece of angle iron self-tapping screwed to the frame and bolted to the lspv thing..

If you can't already tell, I really like zip ties..

truck looks pretty good,  yeah i can tell you are pretty stoked with the zip ties! lol

Ha ha it still has alot more clearance then the stock one!! Maybe when i bust the duals out i'll push it back up, even though that might interfere with the lexus interior i got going ha ha.

Are you doing anything alse to your bed dude or is that how it is YOTA yota? I dig the truck and got the mad respect for the high school build! Gotta pick up them chics right ha ha   :ladys-man: Ya son!

hey Yota yota what exactly do the diff breathers do ???

89sastoyo

A diff breather allows air into and out of your diff, this allows the oil in the axle to move better. If you didnt have a breather it would build pressure and the oil would end up coming out of the axle seals or even pinion seal. What yota yota did was put longer breather tubes on so he can submerge his axle and not have to worry about water getting into the differentials.

also yota yota something you may want to take into consideration is maybe put another spring or two into that front pack and take out the over load. They can be rock anchors and my buddy didnt want to do that because he had a body lift and after about 6-8 months of driving and wheelin it they de arched pretty bad cause the stock rears aren't build for the weight of the motor. Just a thought but the trucks lookin good for sure deff clean and zip ties do work haha I zip tie everything lol

YOTA yota

I'm deffinately gonna have to build a pack for the front. Once I get my bumper, winch and exo on the stock spring are not gonna be likin it. It's already dropped down a little bit after a couple wheelin trips and driven it on the road..
